hello I wonder if someone can help me?
I need to know if there any other benefits I could clam . as the Job center are me a lot of stress (and intraining is being very hard on me)
to go to intraining its 12 mile by bus and I can't not afford the bus fairs. over the last few week I have bin very depressed cos of all the stress intraining have bin give me and I just can not handle any more of this as it get very depressed. I would like to sign off of JSA , but I need to know if there are any other benefits out there I could clam as this is the only income I have. I hope you can help . thanks
What is this 'intraining', I don't understand? Assuming it's some sort of course that you must attend outside of your normal fortnightly signing date then you should be given either a bus pass or alternatively reimbursed for your travel costs.

I'm afraid that you can't just quit JSA and claim an alternative benefit which would allow you to stay at home all warm and cosy. The only exception to this would be if your doctor considered you so severely depressed that he would be happy to sign you off on the sick and give you a 'fit-note'. In that case you could claim for Employment and Support Allowance. This pays exactly the same as JSA for the 3 month assessment phase after which you would be referred for an ATOS assessment. Bear in mind that you will need to send fit-notes as and when the previous fit-note expired so this could mean regular appointments at the doctors.

Intraining is part of the '' work program''. And before you say it NO I'm not trying to get of off JSA just cos of this work programme. I have been on JSA for a year now and trying to find work is becoming really hard to find, as I have searched high and low for a job but still I can not find work . There has go to be something out there to help me get a job or is that not possible ???

It means there's a lot of bins in your first post.

I'm afraid if you are out of work and need money jobseekers allowance is the only way you will get it. And to get that you will need to attend the work programme.

Yes there is and you are doing it right now. If you haven't been able to find work for 12 months, what makes you think you will do now but by gaining some experience through the work programme? 12 miles is nothing and you should have enough in benefits to pay your essential bills AND your fare. All non essential should come last.

If you improved your basic literacy, you could well find it easier to get a job. If you have problems with numeracy as well, there are also courses for this available free.

Is the JSA your only income? You might be entitled to income support, unless this has already been changed to ESA (I'm not very familiar with income support) try this website for any help you might be able to get http://www.turn2us.org.uk/.
