I've try to get help for my dyslexia but there's nothing where I live .
as for my CV I have had it check and I'm following advice online on how I can improve it .the advisor at intraining has threaten me that if I don't see her she will cut my benefits . I can not talk to her before she gets all judgmental and demanding and also she won't listen to what I got to say for 5 minutes .

The idea of seeing an advisor is mainly that you should listen to them; after all, they're the ones who're trying to help you to find a job. They're not supposed to be counsellors.

would like to thank ineed and fredandwilma for the help/advice . as for another post that ask me how old I am ............ well I'm 24+ .
some of the other posts seem to think that I'm just a person that not trying hard enough to find work , to prove to you that I'm not a fat lazy ugly person I'm going to list how I search for work:.

    newspapers
    job agencies
    job websites (aka jobsite etc)
    go direct to the employer
    apprenticeship website

so as you can see I search everywhere to find work or what's available in my area as I live in a small town and it's very had to find work , although I search everyday for job . I can not do more then that ( what I have list above). I apologize for asking for advice on this matter (see 1st post for details) maybe this was too much to ask for? maybe I shouldn't of ask for advice .......... anyway again I apologize unreservedly.

It's good that your searching thoroughly and it isn't easy to find work right now, (it took my next door neighbour four months of looking to find a new job, until he got a lucky break) I should imagine if you live in a remote area it's harder. Don't stop asking for advice, people may seem blunt but they are trying to offer you correct advice. I hope you manage to get help for your dyslexia and find some work soon, talk to your adviser and explain how you feel and the difficulties your having. If she won't listen, can you ask to speak to someone else? Good luck anyway :).

  • Wherever she lives there's not nearly enough work to go around. The government and the corporate media try not to let on even though it must be obvious to anyone with the most basic numeracy skills that a constant 80% to 90% of those seeking employment will not find a job for the simple reason that they don't exist.

Whomever's giving the OP a hard time certainly knows the truth but will continue to pretend not to so as to remain in receipt of the pay and perks for the job she chooses to do.

And do you usually speak so politely about people?

Perhaps rather than grumbling that doing as you are told is doing your head in, you could try a) improving your communication skills, b) talking politely to an advisor about improving your qualifications, c) asking about volunteering/work experience positions or looking into perhaps becoming self employed if you have any skills, talents or hobbies that could be of use (is cleaning a possibility?), d) register with agencies

If you look at all these things, it's possible you might be in a position where you could become like one of the people in your small town who have managed to find themselves paid employment in the time you have been unemployed - after all, it's not strictly the case that there have been no jobs available for anybody at all in that time, it's that you haven't been offered or created one.

But, just remember, if you do get yourself an interview, overweight doesn't mean lazy. Overweight doesn't mean ugly. Ugly is the attitude someone appearing so judgmental displays.
