I will be tightening up our budget even more next month as my OH is actively looking for work so if (fingers crossed) he gets a job we will be looking at spending a month working in hand so no money! Plenty of meals on toast and soup and pudding days forecast but I'm well up for a challenge.
I will be joining February's GC in a minute but the best of luck to everybody coming up to the end of this month.0 -
hi...i am in the middle of a pizza base production line...the master plan being to make and part bake pizza base and freeze to use the base for homemade pizza night in the future...i find domino et al very expensive but pleasant and we order about twice a year...i find bought frozen pizza quite disappointing so thought i would have a go with the base and see what i can do
we are having chicken and chips for our tea and a crumble i am in the process of making....we are due snow later and im hoping my bambios will be home from school before it all gets silly

First month done and quite pleased with my running total. Plenty of meat left in the freezer and the cupboards are full so another month of trying to work through my supplies. Good luck everyone for february!"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

Pay day is only next week on the very last working day of the month, as is every month.:rotfl:
But I will close this month now as the purse is empty and there is no more money to spend other than the allocated amount for petrol for my little yellow car. I have more than enough food in the cupboards, fridge and freezer so that will be where I'll find myself!
This month was an overspend  which I will not be doing in Feb13 as this can simply not be afforded.
Well heading off to February 2013 now and awaiting new challenges!
Well done to all us MSE budgetars! :TReturn and Restart August 2016

This brings my total to £228 for jan, and I still have £30 cash in my purse.
The £130 'saved' will go off the CC bill.

Been to A**i, love it there! Done my weekly shop (which did include washing powder, some treat size chocolates to [STRIKE]bribe[/STRIKE] encourage the kids to do their homework and some Maltesers for me - it is Friday) and it still came to just over £45 :T. Unless something drastic happens should easily come in under my £300 so very chuffed.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
