Hi all
I am at work again today so not much flying done. DH DID peg out second load of washing so :T to him!
Just been to do a viewing and as only round corner walked over. On way back some teenage girl (about 14-15) was stood with 2 boys (same age), felt the need for some reason to shout "look at that fat ar*e go!" I did turn round to her very calming and ask why she felt the need to make comments about someone she did not know, because it makes me laugh she says, squirming, "well you dont appear to be laughing now says I". Now I walk off head held high until out of sight and then start to sob! Am please with myself that I actually said something to her in a calm and controlled way but feel really teary about it all.
Yes I know I am overweight, yes I need to do something about it and maybe this is the final push that will get me motivated enough to do something. I dont want the kids to grow up thinking look at fat mummy. I didn't think I was that fat, I am a size 18 at the moment but that it mainly due to my flabby tummy after 2 sections. Wouldnt mind but this girl was probably a size 14, at her age I was a size 8!
Sorry for the totally off topic waffle but sat here at work all by myself feeling like poo and just wanted a friendly ear so to speak! Did say I needed to do a flylady on myself:o0 -
Well done shell for standing up to that girl, most people (me included) would not have the nerve to do what you did.
I am sure your kids don't care what size you are, to them you are mum and they love you for it and we all know that our mums are the best in the world
If that girl is a size 14 now then imagine what a couple of kids will do for hershe is the one with the problem not you. :grouphug:

If you were still a size 8 she would have shouted something different at you. People like that are just stupid. (I would have cried too).0

Thats awful Shell - big hugs to you. Your kids will love you for who you are, maybe her mum is busy being slim rather than bringing up children with manners!!0

((((((Oh Shell))))))), what a terrible thing to happen. Well done to you for sticking up for yourself. stupid girl probably thought she was being quite clever in front of those lads - glad you shut her up - people like that make my blood boil.......
Lil'me hope you get your ff in ok. My friend had one of those huge FF delivered a few years ago and it took them two attempts to get it in her house!!
Haven't done much today at all. Got up this morning and washed up and put some washing in. Was going to peg it out but it's clouding over here now and looking a bit iffy. DD woke me up at 6.30 this morning poking me in the face lol
she got in with us then byt didn't go back to sleep like she normally does, se ended up getting up. Cooked a nice Sunday roast , it was delish, there was a bit left over, so the dog had a Sunday Roast too! Washed up after dinner, but everything's still sitting on the draining board so need to go and sort that out in a bit. I had a little kip after dinner for about an hour so I feel more awake now and need to do a bit of a catch up. Freecycler was supposed to come the other day to pick something up and never turned up so I reposted it last night and one of my neighbours is coming for it today at some point.
Right heres my little list for this afternoon.
Got to fill out form for DD's trip and get money ready to send into school
Iron DD's uniform
Get swimming kit ready for DD tomorrow
S&S Toilet and Bathroom
Finish Kitchen off
Vac everywhere
Hubby is tidying things away in the living room while I'm doing this.
Will get myself some clothes ready for in the morning so I raring to get set flying when DD has gone to school.
How's everyone else doing today?

Hi Poohbear If you go back to the first page you'll see each days jobs listed there. I think when a new week is about to begin a new thread is started Sunday evening. When you come on MSE on Monday morning to look, go to the Flylady thread and look at the first page for the lists. (the first post added by lil'me) On Tuesday, the days lists will be added to the first page also and so on.
