Shirleypark - have only just read about your rat. Am very sorry to hear your news. Losing a pet is horrible...Big hugs to you!

Lots of you seem to have been busy today, and after a slow start, I got going too.

DH finally finished the flat pack furniture and moved it out of our bedroom, so I did the master bedroom which got missed earlier in the week.
I also spent a bit of time sorting out DD2's room, although that is a major operation that is going to take a while. Will try to do a bit more tomorrow!

broomstick27 the way I have done it so far is working downstairs up, but will look at changing it next week, just this once seeing as you asked so nicely :D

Any complaints on the back of a £50 note please :D

Got a little more done but not much, DP has said he's cleaning the cars out tomorrow, which no doubt means I am helping  it starts with a could you help with this, he vanishes and I end up doing it

I'm sat here worrying about tomorrow and if the FF will fit, who would think something like that could make you get so stressed, I couldn't sleep last night I think that is why, hence couldn't wake up today.

Well done everyone by the way. I know it's been quieter with being the weekend but thanks for keeping me company.
One day I might be more organised...........

Good luck with the FF lil_me, Don't take no for an answer. If the measurements say it fits, then the man who delivers it should get it in (that is after all his job!). Make him a cup of tea, tell him what a big strapping love of a lad he is and he should then do his best not to let you down.

We managed to get the lists finished yesterday (apart from those damned daily de-clutter tasks - for some reason, my brain just freezes up on these) and we sent some bits to the tip with DHs parents, so the house is looking pretty good. ;)

I dreamt of a filthy bath last night - a big, thick, dirty ring around it - sections of which I sprayed with stardrops in different concentrations to see which works best in grimey baths! Even my dreams are about flying. :D

But then I had another dream that I was on the loo and I woke up with a start as I was about to wet myself! :rotfl: I think I preferred the cleaning dream.

DH and DS are taking a trip to the grounds of the cathedral this morning, just to have a run around before the city gets too busy. DSs dad is coming to take him swimming this afternoon (supposedly, let's just say if I held my breath, I'd be dead by tea-time) so he should be good and sleepy tonight.

I'll try to de-clutter either the airing cupboard or utility room this afternoon while the boy is out, it's hard though, we need most of the things we have (lots of extras for the baby etc) and only have a compact, two-bedroom flat.

Right, I only came in because I was feeling lonely and a bit chatty, so I'll let you get on. You're probably cursing me for wasting your time now! Have a lovely day my girls and I hope that the sun shines for you as well as for me. Shirleypark, I hope you feel a little brighter today, take some time out and do something fun. x

    Good morning,

Lil_me - hope the FF is delivered safely today!!!!

Not much flying for me today, my bedding is in the WM, so will hang that out as soon as its finished, will be popping upstairs with the duster in a bit, but i think that will be it (although i might whip the hoover around tonight if i feel up to it). My 2 are out with their dad, so will be very peaceful here, and im going to do a bit of gardening, and maybe pop over and see a friend - i hate being on my own when my children are with their dad!!!
Right, off to make some waffles and head for the shower,
    Have a lovely day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Fingers crossed for your FF delivery today lil_me, let's hope this delivery man does his job properly.
ShirleyPark- hope you are feeling ok today.
Maralum- good luck with the airing cupboard.

Hello to all other flyers too, hope everyone is ok.:j

Woke up yesterday morning with a headache and very bad sore throat which got steadily worse all day. Throat still hurting a bit today, but feel like I have more energy.
Did a half hour tidy up when DH and DS went to the cinema so the house didn't look too bad and the washing that I did I managed to get ironed and put away by early evening.

This afternoon we are supposed to be having a picnic in a park in town as a swing band are playing at the bandstand. We've invited DH's parents along to join us but not sure if they are coming along or not.

Hope everyone has a great day whatever plans you have.
