    Good morning everyone

Hope all are ok. Feel like I'll get quite a lot done today. Walked to school again, and have dropped DD2 off at playschool. Baby asleep, and I'm just having a coffee break before cracking on with my list.

Have stripped DDs beds and one load is in washer and the other in the dryer. They should both be ready to put back on the beds by midday.

Am going to finish the bathrooms next, then s and s the kitchen before popping out for veggies on my way to pick up DD2 from playschool.

I'll make the pizza while LOs are eating their lunch I think.

Anyway, will be back with a progress report later. Wish me luck!

    Morning all :D

I admit it I seem to be struggling this week :o , its coming up to "that time of the month:mad: " and I just dont have the get up and go.

Still gave myself a talking to this morning and so far have:-

Tidy lounge, dusted, hoovered, cobwebbed etc
    S & S Kitchen
    Done breakfast dishes
    S & S Bathroom
    Hoovered hallway

Will do upstairs this pm so girls can play in the playroom while i crack on. Windows were done last week but one in girls room needs de-finger marking again:rolleyes: .

Also have a basket of ironing to put away.

Wish the weather would buck up, I am getting behind with the washing again:mad:

Right had 3 coffees but really feel the need for chocolate, but I will have a banana instead. Decided i need to do a flylady on myself, feel like I have really let myself go lately - but maybe next week when I can be bothered:p :rotfl:

    Have a good one!

Menopausal hormones can be quite useful, earlier this morning I had half an hour when I had pure hatred running through my veins. Instead of snapping at the pets and DH I stripped and remade the bed, did two loads of washing and hung it out, vacuumed all bedrooms and landing (and dusted).

Then I watched Waterloo Road and calmed down. I have no idea why I was so evil, it's a bit scary sometimes.
  • Oh dear, didn't manage to stop myself swtiching on the computer before doing the bedrooms today.

But I have collected my new phone which is charging, very pink and girly.

Transferred the money to DH account so he can pay for our holiday.

Put the bedding wash on the line.

Had a cuppa and an early lunch.

Right will go and do bedrooms now...........

    Afternoon everyone

Packed lunches / uniform, clothes for next day
Friday, those dreaded kids rooms and spare rooms

[STRIKE]Strip beds and wash linen, replace with fresh linen[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Pick up any toys etc laying around (if they are old enough can of course delegate)[/STRIKE] Now this is where I came a little unstuck........ started tidying toys in ds' room. Realised there were several toys he didn't play with so sorted through and took them off the shelf. As I took a toy box off the shelf, the shelf collapsed and I swore very loudly, luckily ds was downstairs. When I looked alittle closer at the bookcase I could see one side was coming away so emptied it totally, unscrewed it from the wall, screwed the side back on properly, and reversed the process. Took slightly longer than it was meant to so now I'm sitting down after making choccie biscuits with ds.
[STRIKE]Dust [/STRIKE]Oh, that reminds me..... I left the duster somewhere when I had the shelf crisis.....wonder where it is?
    Vacuum
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Vacuum mattress[/STRIKE]

Five minute sit down - have finished the bathrooms (including windows and floors) which look very sparkly. Was horrified by how dusty some of the bars on my heated towel rail were! Also washed down the doors - panelled doors look nice but they gather the muck!
Have now got second lot of sheets in dryer and put a load of washing in, so things going ok there. Am about to make up DD1's bed.
I was brave so have also cleaned window, upvc frame and sill, and dusted and polished her chest of drawers. Also unpacked a big removal packing crate that has been sitting in the corner of her room for about 2 years, so she'll be so surprised to see that it's gone when she gets home from school.
Right, off to get DD2 from playschool now.

    Enjoy the choccie biccies Hopelizzie!
Love the idea of channelling that rage pollybear! I'm going to try that next time my hormones try it on!
