Really pleased with what I achieved yesterday, but little flying done today. DD’s school rang at 9.15 to say she was ill and had fallen asleep on the beanbags. I went to pick her up and she became magically better as soon as we got home…..! She finally admitted she wanted to come home and spend time with her baby brother. Hard to be angry with her, she has been so good with him so far. I have said that if she ever does it again I will take her back to school and make her explain to the head teacher that she was pretending to be ill - is that too harsh? Probably, but I am a teacher myself. So I spent the day with DS, lovely but needs feeding an awful lot of the time, and DD, a lovely but loopy five year old. I just had to roll with it. MIL came over and helped entertain DD, she also continued to work through the ironing mountain that I made an impression on last night. Dinner done, WM, DW, etc etc so actually done quite a lot…. Funny how we are so quick to think we have done nothing! Lil-me’s list for today will go to the bottom of my list for tomorrow and I will see what I can do. Maralum - I do feel for you. My OH didn’t react to the stress of impending birth in quite the way I would have wished, but he was there and great in his own way! Hope all is fine this evening.Grocery Challenge (2 adults 2 kids)

I think I've managed level 2 most days, I haven't bothered doing windows this week, mainly 'cos the outsides need doing and I wouldn't see how well they were done...can you see where this is going?.. SO the logical thing for me would be to do ins and outs at the same time because otherwise I'll put off doing them forever. I can find a dodge for almost anything if anyone wants to borrow one!
I've done the ironing but still haven't had my tea. Must have something before I get to the too tired to cook too hungry to sleep stage. No more flying for me tonight.
Susy, I hope Lil_me doesn't introduce pavement cleaning on here! Interesting tale though, can't begin to contemplate not being allowed out by law and in recent history too.
Have a good evening all, bath bed book for me. Maybe even in that order! One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

I have not returned to my list this evening - decided to spend the time doing stuff with LOs at the kitchen table instead, so have got to finish the ensuite and do the bathroom tomorrow. Some things are more important than cleaning methinks.
I haven't wasted any time today AND I did spend twenty whole minutes in my disaster area, walked to school and back twice, baked some bread, shopped, did school runs (on foot both times), playschool runs, downstairs loo and some jobs in the bathrooms so all is not lost.
Will try to get lots done tomorrow. Will look at Lil_Me's list, but will then decide how rebellious I want to be, and may set my own agenda instead. Is this allowed, or will I be thrown off the Flylady thread?? (Hope not!)0 -
Evening everyone, sorry it's so late, swimming tonight was delayed by 30 minutes which just set everything to pot. Thursdays are always hectic here! Well I got most things done today, need to do the tiles tomorrow and one of the PCs/desks (got an excuse 3 PC areas, 3 desks and 2 laptops to sort and clean!!)
Well done everyone, most of you are even putting me to shame in the amount you are managing to fit in, I'm impressed but please slow down you're making me look bad :rotfl:
I had an 'argh' moment last night as my washer was refusing to work and was just flashing most of it's lights at me, thankfully after being switched off overnight seems to be ok. Fingers crossed stays that way as it's not under warranty etc.
Anyway, tomorrows challenges are up should you wish to acceptjust working on my additional list which I will post in a mo.
One day I might be more organised...........

Wow, everyone's done really well today! Didn't so much flying today. S&S toilet and bathroom, will do today's list tomorrow when I do LO's bedroom.
Didn't win the carpet (for the bedroom) I was after on E-bay, good job as well it went for loads in the end!! DH took me shopping and we bought some flooring - hubby has just finished laying it and it looks brill!!!! Bought some white gloss and tidied the skirting boards and doors in the bedroom. Bought a tin of magnolia and tidied up the wallpaper in the hallway where DD keeps ramming her pram into it lol. I've painted half the skrting boards and door frames in the hallway too - will finish off the rest tomorrow at some point!!!
I need to buy some more paint though as I need to do the doors as well and I don't think I'm going to have enough - should have got a bigger tin!! Ah well, will finish the sk. boards and door frames off tomorrow and then will have to wait till DD's back at school Monday to do the doors. Got a lovely tin of paint for the kitchen, nice duck egg blue colour, if theres enough left over, I will do the toilet with it aswell. Phew. This will be next week though at some point. Shattered now, going for a nice hot bath in a bit. Hope everyone else has had a good day!!!!Marriages are made in heaven, but then again so is thunder and lightning!!!.....getting divorced lol :j

So far today has been a bit of a disaster. The M3 was closed this morning, and it was going to take an hour to do about 1 mile just to get out of Southampton to the M3, so came home and then went a different way, got to work at 11am, only 1 1/2 hours late !!!
Then I get to work and one of the databases is down, so hardly anything is working, finally that starts working about 2pm and then the power goes in the data centre where all our computer servers are and doesn't come back until 4pm !! Thankfully I could still do work, until some of the other people who couldn't do anything, but weren't allowed to go home (as then work would have to pay them).
I've done nothing since I got in, watched an episode of Top Gear on UKTV Gold2 with the BF and then spent most of the evening looking after one of the rats as she doesn't appear to be too well. Having lost one over Easter weekend, it's a little worrying as this one is behaving in a very similar manner. She is currently sitting in my intray, which is her favourite place in my study.
It looks like everyone has been busy again, even those of you who think you've done nothing, I bet if you actually listed everything you've done you'd surprise yourself.
nell - doing stuff with the LOs is definately more important, afterall you'll never be able to get this time back and they grow up so quickly, setting your own agenda is perfectly acceptable and we definately won't through you off the list. I like looking at other people's lists as it often reminds me of things that I need to do.
Maralum - glad you worked it out with DH
Huge hugs to everyone that's in need of one, I'm going to get on with a few more things having returned the rattie to either the BF or the cage.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Just got back from work, but I'm sure you all want to know that I managed to get the grass cut this afternoon and watered my plant pots (that'll be why it promptly rained - sorry!)
And I had the dentist this morning (can't remember if I posted this earlier and can't be bothered to go back and look); just a checkup and clean so that's me for another year.0 -
Emmie my goodness you have been busy! I must get myself some time allocated to decorating when the TMA I am working on is finished. Halls are dreadful!
Pollybear you have my sympathy, I also was at dentist today, unfortunately the dumb dentist 'lost' my crown, so had to inject my gum, drill out the false filling stuff and take another impression. More pain for nothing!!!
Shirley sounds like you've had a real rough day, hope tomorrow is better
Andy, we all have days like that, at least you got something done! Sometimes other things are more important like hugs with an upset little one
pigpen well donehope meeting went well, is that your first meeting ?
tinselfairy sounds like you had a lovely day
this is it well done
lbnblbnb it isn't good when you have to be harsh when they are being so lovely, awww bless her
tracy let him sulk honey, men have to be good at something :rotfl:
Maralum pleased to hear things are better with your partner
Nell2 like the first post said, these are just suggestions, more than welcome to follow own agenda. Time with LOs can never wait as they aren't little twice, housework is always there and can wait.
torianut - sorry I think you have done really well, give yourself a break!
