Best of luck to everyone starting Uni in Sept;)

I started last year and had every worry and anxiey that you are going through, with me being a mature student i didnt think i would get on with the younger ones BUT...... It is nothing like that, no matter what your age or background is everyone gets treated the same and you all just mingle, you will make loads of friends guaranteed!!

Dont worry about not being able to make friends that just doesn't happen.

devils_nose i couldnt wait to leave my job but there is times i wish i was back as it was so much easier than the work we have to do!! :D

Right best get back to my 7000 words i have to do for next wekk!! :D

DD off to City University, London, far away from small-town Somerset. She thinks it's really scary moving so far away (and it's LONDON), but I keep telling her it's only a couple of hours on the coach!

  • Don't fear Freshers' Week - at the fair you will come away with more freebies and pens than you can ever use (I'm finishing my 4th year and have been each year for yet more freebies :rotfl:). Just enjoy uni (especially your first year because your final year is ridiculously stressful, so you should at least make some good memories to keep you going) and take it as it comes - you never know what you'll end up doing, I was as quiet as a mouse when I got to uni and yet 3 weeks later became a varsity cheerleader - trust me when I say it's a heck of a ride!

Tell her London is the best - great gigs all the time and always something fun and interesting to do!!

I miss London at the moment

I'm going uni this sept, but I'm quite worried because I've been on a gap year and not sure if I can go back onto the student routine! I'm looking quite forward to it, however not sure how I'm going to cope without my mum - I've hardly ever cooked for myself, and never ever done the laundry! :o
