I told them I did not accept it and I wanted the redress reversed.

The manager I spoke to could not believe it when I asked for the redress reversed he said 'so you want your account to be at detriment. I said I wanted it back to how it was when I requested then not to add the redress. He said he would find out if that could be done.

I have just come across this thread, I did read on yahoo when the news first broke. Raised my eyebrows, and thought hmm, wait for the postman.
However I forgot about this, now in reading this post, I have a together mortgage.
Details... I took out this in 2001. I have dug out a statement from 2010. I cant remember off hand what I took out altogether, but from this statement, details £19,000 mortgage / £6000 unsecured.
Since I have not received any letter from NRAM. Am I entitled to this compensation ?
Also is there any link to the credit card that was issued alongside with the mortgage, that had the same low rate, if mortgage paid off early, rate will rise bumf attached, now co operative.

cot, I have written and emailed telling nram I now no longer consider myself in arrears and want my account placed in dispute until they have resolved my complaint to my satisfaction. I have had nothing but the stock response but do have a letter in each occasion acknowledging my complaint. I am now waiting for them to take me to court. I cannot see how my request affects them materially, in essence I will owe them the same. I do not want my period reduced and I want my arrears on my secured and unsecured element cleared (they were both under the same account number until the new style statements came out) and I'll be happy.

    Hi everyone,

I have had a letter back saying they have looked into my case and my loans were not covered by the CCA and they are closing my case.
Whats the next course of action as I have checked my original documentation and I have a together mortgage and at the bottom where I have signed it says it is covered by the CCA.
I need to write to the ombudsman but how do I approach it? what way? any suggestions or has anyone set a letter I can use part of? I'm not leaving it at this as I think NRam are wrong.

    Thanks
    Tim

Ok have you sent cca request for all your documentation?
Your as well sending a letter for SAR request and you will receive everything they have on you. Was your loan under 25k?

After getting a hold letter over two months ago I haven't heard anything since.

Sounds like they're hoping people forget about this
