  • Saturday 5th January...

Well I've come to the conclusion that money saving is definetely as addictive as spending but in a good way.... PAD is really working wonders for me plodding away at these debts every little thing I can wangle I am !!! My MIL paid me $20 out of $50 yesterday that she owed me so that went straight off it I sold $22 on ebay that was paypalled straight into bank and paid off hoping for another $22 today and that will go straight off it again and as my usual PAD is $5 that is knocking days off my last payment date... So I've got $345 left to pay off my argos card via barclays card...Bought a pair of clarks shoes in shop saturday my little un tried on in store but he said their hurting him when walking so hopefully theyl take those back I cant see why not as hes only put them on in doors for a matter of a minute... kids huh luckily we bought 2 pairs had the second pair as there was a sale on and he needed a new pair of trainers for knocking round in so that should be $14 in the pot again... Hubby also chipped in $20 yesterday as he won on a scratchcard ... Also got this months council tax together already which is a miracle as it isnt due til end of month I'm quite tempted to pay this off barclaycard but I wont it will give us a breather in our bank account as we have that cash in the house, I think I will also go food shopping this week rather than have it delivered so I can physically pay for that too rather than taking it out of the bank as im robbing that bare daily lol ....

Yesterday was a very spendy day or what felt like it but counting the coppers spent at end of day It wasnt that bad 2 pairs of shoes in clarks was $38... $14 will be going back tho... Also spent $7.30 in m+s on 2 gorgeous ready meals hubby been fancying off the tele along with 10p reduced cheese coleslaw and bread DS had a white choc cookie so he was happy and a bag of pink percies for 50p used a $5 voucher so cost me in real terms $2.30... Then went into Matalan and picked up 6 school polo shirts, 2 cooking tongs ours was knackered and its something we use all the time at home... o and my chicken doorstop reduced to $3 which I love and now has been adopted by our dog absolutely hilarious watching a cocker spaniel wandering around with a mega heavy chicken doorstop shes completely crazy!!! these were also paid by vouchers left over from xmas so once again free lol, then into asda living to pick up rest of school uniform I ordered in the sale so all sorted for school til july apart from new school shoes at some time... My spend clocked up in asda tho bought 5 new bath towels and 5 hand towels for $15 plus 3 pairs of jeans for DS totaling $33 ... all were planned so was happy with that hubby then bought mcdonalds which was a waste of syns!!! but had a nice wander round shops but still no wrapping paper !!! $59.30 spend and budgeted $75 also picked up my bits I bought in tescos had fab $1 jewelery in a grabbit they are gorgeous 6 little silver crosses a pound each. 2 thomas tank watches $1 each and I had 2 silver charms for my bracelet again $1 each so a fab little bundle for a tenner in the gift box also 2 bottles on contradiction for $5 each 1 for hubby for birthday to go along with my family tree cutting im having made so hes sorted apart from some cash in a card for a new cd or something...other contradiction will go in xmas stocking for my oldest son... other spend in tesco was a 25p calculator and a reduced to $1.75 elf ready for elf on the shelf next christmas which my son adored this year it was magical but he sobbed his heart out so much Pokey came home to stay with us but lost his magical powers and just became special lol hence buying a new elf this year whilst on offer...

    vouchers left $45 M+S
    $30 L2S
    $10 ARGOS.
    $0-paypal.
    $0-purse (trolley dolley)
    2/15 NSD ...
    $5.00 PAD/$445 left to pay..

DS and hubby down outlaws for dinner and as DS isnt back to school til tuesday hes wangled a night down there little tinker!! I dont mind really give me time to catch up on my ironing and bits without pottering around him and shouting to turn the tele down hes an avid fan of horrid henry at the mo god I hope he dont turn out like him lol

Plans for the week is to get back into flylady routine catch up with all ironing and start my walking the dog daily as well as at least 1 15 min on treadmill I have to start somewhere !!!

Going to have to go over my statements later today as I know I added £250 on total for extra interest and xmas spends and I definetely didnt spend that much so I could be over estimating think Il call in credit union and get a print out too... to be edited later...

Well just taken a look at what's owed where and thankfully its better news than I thought

    £1500.00 credit union.
£310.00 Argos card via barclays card this will be cleared by 25th of Jan at the latest
and £62 on creation card which I'l clear pay day at end of month so total left to pay will be and there's one last payment coming out of £78 Barclays loan due out on 17th Jan.= £1950 so

£1950/£2863= 31.8% -- we have both decided to just leave the credit union loan tick away as its hardly noticable at the moment and look at it again mid year SO THIS TAKES IT DOWN TO £450.00 ON JANUARY 8TH.

Well DS is back in school dogs walked finances checked time to catch up with flylady bits now and shampoo DS carpet I think but will have a dream on holiday site first lol

  • Well im super mega impressed 15 mins later with the new bissell DS carpet is like new so think il do a light wash once every 3 months on all the carpets in the house... the house is smelling fresh and gorgeous too as a bonus.... DS and hubby gone to football club so sneaking an hour with laptop and some home design crap on tele for the first time in 20 years I can hand on heart say I love my home 2 months of mess skimping and decorating before christmas has made a huge difference to the whole house, want to paint the bathroom now but in no hurry for that summertime will be fine lol

More orders coming in for hampers daily but thankfully everyones paying monthly now last year was a nightmare 8 people in work paying weekly and any day of the week NIGHTMARE!! bordering $190 commission now hoping for another $300 of orders to hit our $200 target then thats christmas sorted with the vouchers weve ordered so can forget about it well apart from the planning lol

  • Thursday 23rd January a bit repetitive now snowing again lol Schools closed but thankfully have had no time off but just had to book tomorrow off as cant ask MIL to risk coming here in the snow shes not the steadiest at the best of times ..

My boots order came today I ordered in 75% sale the bits are gorgeous and perfect for prezzies and to build hampers come christmas... DPD fella was snowed up to his ankles couldnt believe it when he actually knocked the doors so got those to put away now and then can forget about christmas till next autumn (theoretically lol)

Hubby is in work DS off school and watching tosh on tele Eldest son is out scraping the drive AGAIN for his girlfriend to take her car home god only knows why she dont leave it down her house.... and playing the waiting game to see if we have school tomorrow how on earth people are able to find childcare with so little notice is beyond me thank goodness we both work in walking distance!!!

Pay day is coming closer and closer now have $199 left to clear on my argos card and have money sorted for that and also to pay off my 2013 park hampers so thats another thing that doesnt need to come out of our monthly pays ... Hubby put $40 in bank for me on way to work so I PAD straight off it we are slightly in the red in the bank now but is only for a few days and its authorised so no charges... I find myself wishing my last few days away every month so cant wait to get this little lot cleared so I can stop doing that... $120 my DS owes me
$79 my pay- this will clear it
    $70 tc
    $80 cb
    $200 hubby
    $50 my pay
$70 tc anything left over will be put to use somewhere else this will all be cleared by 1st of feb and as weve no council tax for next 2 months we will be ok ...
List above to be stuck too if poss!!!!

Also need a new microwave food not as hot as usual coming out of there now so on its way out of it can last a few weeks il be so grateful!!:rotfl:
