Why does working with a load of men have to be such bloody hard work how hard is it to remember the name of the person your picking up or a number of the street your picking up from it so doesn't take a bloody genius!!!
I've come to the conclusion that it's time I found a new job by June 29th I will be employed elsewhere as this is now totally demoralising me and becoming a joke...Plus I know I have more to offer rather than being stuck looking at 4 boring walls for 8 hours!!
Tomorrow's task is to take the christmas tree down pack all xmassy bits away so we are all nice ad clean for new years eve ... And avoid sales apart from DS new jeans school shoes and football trainers I really dont need anything else, I have sold $60 of stuff on ebay so will use this money for new jeans for him and keep an eye out for trainers on ebay once ive been to clarks to have his feet measured.... will also keep an eye out for wrapping paper tags and cards for 2013 ...

30 December 2012
Well i've just found out you can pay for argos bits with paypal so thats how im going to fund my housy bits that need replacing there are a few things I want and a few things I need...EBAY here we come...
Bissell carpet cleaner is on offer at mo down to $99.99 and has 5* reviews this is a need as DS carpet either needs replacing or shampooing so just replacing his carpet would cost $130 plus and as its not worn at all just grubby as is a light colour and 6 year old really its fine!! so the carpet cleaner would pay for itself immediately...NEED NOT WANT..
Microwave- Ours was cheap as chips as noone takes care of it and is a few years old so not really nice to look at inside but still works perfectly so I guess this is WANT NOT NEED...
New iron!! I have a fair Iron but it works just ok makes ironing a chore of hell but do have an ideal world super duper iron sat in cupboard but the steam button isnt working so will get hubby to have a look with his new xmas prezzy lol- WANT NOT NEED.
New set of cutlery ours are all mismatched handles loose etc as were cheap as chips and looked lovely at first but now look shoddy so will replace these asap NEED NOT WANT as who wants to eat off yucky forks?? -do have L2S vouchers that will pay for these though...
On my wish list is a new bed or at least a memoryfoam topper as not too comfy now but that is just wish list..
And my dyson is absolutely cracking me up but may see how much a service is as it picks up well just think hubby has taken it apart just once to often and not put it back together properely- must remember to wash filter as not done for yonks!!
I do NEED a new actifry as DH snapped catch and now doesnt stay closed without help which isnt the best but still works but $100 is out of the question for a new one at the moment so not even on the wish list its a it can wait I do use it really often but still..O and I WANT a static caravan lol
Thats my January housy stocktake so Im waiting for $80 in ebay should be there for tomorrow then I can order my Bissell cleaner for the huge sum of $23.95 with delivery... blooming fab!! this will also boost my flylady bits as nothing like clean from top to bottom....
Im going to start withdrawing our Child benefit when it goes into account as it all just gets sucked into general spends and I want to see exactly where its going to so going to start pots/envelopes for the following...
$81.20 i think it is and I will add $19.80 to it to make it up to $100.00
Football cons-$8.00
Hairdressers-$12.00
Dog bits-$10.00
Clothes-$25.00
Emergency-$15.00
School bits-$10.00-DS is going to take a packed lunch for a try hopefully he'l enjoy as this will save $50 a month!!
Gifts+celebs-$20.00
I can only pinch from one pot to another to use for these bits and this will start in January so I must find out due dates for child benefit and keep track....I was going to have a housy pot too but this can wait.. or be funded by ebay/surveys etc..
Grocery challenge is something im starting in January but think I'l have to do this 2 weekly as funds dont allow me to take a full month of cash out just yet but will be able to in feb as no council tax to pay and a loan is finished so extra $258 in kitty that month so that will cover that.
Apart from keeping up with PAD flylady and grocery challenge and diaries I think thats about it really...
Jan- clearing argoscard via barclays...
Feb-clearing 2013 christmas vouchers via barclaycard- before council tax kicks back in.
Mar-decide if we want to clear a $1500.00 loan as its only $16.00 a month so dont even notice it coming or going and dont know if I want to scrimp for 3 months to gain $4 a week... or build up some savings really want to have $2000.00 in an emergency fund within 5 years...dilemmas!!! I know DH would rather just leave that tick away as got a few things ending this year last year of paying child maintenance, loan finishing In Jan so extra $80 in kitty a month, sky is something we really have to cut back on or at least find an alternative... We have 1 more loan to clear that isnt in my debt amount as yet but going to look into seeing if I can make extra payments off that cos with the extra money in the pot I can clear that at least 2 years early maybe 3 so will look into that late feb and go from there as we have no OD to clear etc it makes sense to go for the big guns!!! :money:
Come on ebay I want my Bissell this week lol it will keep me busy and out of trouble and spending honest !!.
Well just had a bit of luck with Bisssell shopped around a little and just by chance checked the main bissell site and it had the exact cleaner I wwanted $20 cheaper than argos with free delivery and 2 free bottles of cleaner so very very happy !!! best part is cleaner cost me $5 in total as had $75 in Paypal from ebay sales just short of the $80 presumed... FAB... so thats ordered ...:T
Money in purse...$0.00 apart from a trolley dolley...
Money in tin ....$280.00.(hoping to hang on to this to clear dec and Jan council tax Monday).
PAD made today...$5.00.
$AD tin...$0.00.
$ spent today..$5.00 0n a bissell cleaner i real money terms...
also
$75.00 in paypal.- now $0.00 as bought a carpet cleaner,
$50.00 m+s vouchers.
$42.00 L2S vouchers.2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.0 -
2012 has been both good and bad here DS1 has found his self a gorgeous girlfriend and as we speak are seeing in new year in Paris, DS3 has had amazing school reports and has fab foundations in school reading and maths are amazing for a 6 year old... also enjoying football club and has solid friend base in school and at home. DH has had less bouts of IBS and we have pretty much found the trigger to be too much coffee and burning candle at both ends.
Debts are continuously coming down, I get more enjoyment about saving rather than spending now thank goodness.I hope this continues through this year, we had an amazing holiday 2 weeks in Turkey the hotel was gorgeous and DS had a fab fab time well worth the penny pinching for that... We also had a 6th birthday party which we wont be doing every year for certain his birthday is so close to xmas that everyone is ill and busy shopping, so we'l save the cash and spoil him elsewhere instead of throwing money away on absent kids something ive learnt tho is always RSVP lol
SS relationship is at an all time low tho at the moment he is turning 16 this year and obviously wants time with his friends etc but hes never had any form of encouragement to come see his dad but there isnt a lot you can do about that its down to them to sort out ive pushed has hard as I can... We seem to have found a general calmness in our relationship DH and I we hardly ever argue I still want to strangle him often lol but seeing him crippled with IBS when truely stressed I realise I have to pick my fights accordingly sometimes my mouth runs off before I think but I cant change that and most of it really does need saying most is about lack of housework lol
I suppose its NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS TIME I have few as usual
I will continue losing weight with slimming world.
I will continue to make extra time for DH and pick my fights and to have 1 night in or out a month time flies by without noticing.
I will start being firmer with DS as he is becoming a spoilt little brat!!! this has to stop!
And on a more financial footing I'm knuckling down and starting a few saving challenges as well as cutting down challenges ....NSD CHALLENGE is always a good one for me it stops me taking my purse out when doing school run or going to work etc stops me buying a coke and a magazine etc...STARTING IN JANUARY WITH 15 NSD...
The grocery challenge...Im going to aim for $50 a week for a 5 week month and a $30 top up spend either in butchers or farmfoods...and $50 a week on 4 week months with a $40 a month top up in both butchers and either farmfoods or home bargains....there is a method in my madness honestly...either way its $280 a month all in pet food, toiletries, cleaning bits...anything left over goes in pot for elec n gas...
Money in purse...$0.00 apart from a trolley dolley...
Money in tin ....$280.00.(hoping to hang on to this to clear dec and Jan council tax Monday).will pay wednesday weather to bad here today..

January 2nd xx Morning diary xx
Well woke up nice and early with no hangover BONUS! Dont go out often at all so was expecting one to be honest... Washing machine whirring as we speak DS due home from Paris today with his girlfriend I'l miss the peace but will be nice to get back into routine after christmas and new year celebrations toys and junk!!! most of decluttering done in house now and looks heaps better back to flylady properly as of this morning also back on plan with slimming world...
Have finally got around to sitting and writing outgoings out for the month the plan is to leave the d/d amount into current account and transfer over anything else into another so we can see what's actually left over week to week,1 of us weekly pay other monthly plus tax credits the money is just all over the shop and we can never tell where its going and when so this is a priority to set up ready for Feb especially as 1 loan is finished this month plus there's no council tax for 2 months !!! This months child benefit will have to stay in the D/D pot due to extra xmas spending but will start that next month in fact think il just withdraw it payday then its done... just had a check of actual amount of cash going into current account and its far more than I thought so I will be starting the pots this week as C/B goes in this weekend and if we dont starting cutting back we'l never get things sorted so scrimping month this month....
