Hi Welsh Dreamer
I'm sat here, sulking, because I got £70 for Christmas but as I need to get my gas fire repaired and I don't know how much it's going to cost, I daredn't spend it in the sales...
.....but there's NOTHING I actually need or even want, and I'd get much more satisfaction from paying off £70 on a credit card.

Happy christmas lovely x and yea I feel the same just snapped at hubby for asking me if I want to go out but I said ive not bought nothing new to wear for ages and everyone would be out in they fab sale clothes and feel awful for moaning as I was spoilt rotten to be honest but iv just sold a spare wii to my mother in law for £50 and im thinking that and my xmas money could clear my left over bacrclay card and a chunk off my next debt which is my argos card but feel a total BAH HUMBUG lol never mind he said he had no intention going out til I mentioned it he wanted a cosy night in n watch Liverpool play bless him ... anyway enough grumping from us both, Thing is with buying on impulse its fab going for a squander but when I get in unpack the bags I just see stuff!!! so keep your £70 safe id say or maybe if you really fancy something have a little of it maybe so at least youve had a treat x2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.0

Hiyas diary well ive started lol Ive just cleared my barclaycard and added my Argoscard to it $671.92 so now have 2 months to clear it completely and even told DH which isnt something I usually do so now at least he wont think im frittering money away needlessly Im going to throw every spare penny at it but still keep a eye on the savings too... DH has even just said he thinks he can manage $1 a day alongside mine but im going to aim for $500 rather than $730 starting from today all go in it ...

Hiyas diary x well man flu strikes again twice in 2 weeks ad I feel rotten we really need a dose of frost to killl the bugs off its so damp its just doing the rounds of schools etc...
Anyway made a start o my challengey bits for coming year today really pleasantly surprised at DH joining in potting his pounds like a good un lol also really peeved off at total lack of interest his mum dad and brother showed regarding prezzies and to be honest I dont blame him like he said hed rather have a prezzy from the pound shop if they had chose it specifically for him thinking hed like it rather than spend loads which they hadnt thankfully so presents are going to be less in cost and stress hunting for just the right thing, little does he know ive nearly finished xmas 2013 all are planned hampers but will scale down considerably as I do totally agree with him... I really want to go on the hunt for some bargains but dont want to spend hmmm ...
Also decided that January I will clear argos and feb I will pay off our 2013 park hampers so thats another bill not coming out of our pockets all year, also will have comission in love2shop vouchers last year we had about $250 in cash but it just got lost in xmas spends so if we have vouchers we can just order $300 less and have amazon and next vouchers plus just pay for $200 love2shop which we can use over year well thats the plan,,,
Its DH birthday first in January and havent a clue what to get him yet ...2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.0 -

Afternoon diary xx Just back from slimming world and actually lost 9lb over christmas although 8lb of that was actually shifting a gain id had 2 weeks before through guzzling a bottle of medicne and living on crap as so ill but I will gratefully take my pound off over christmas!!
Just checked through blinkered eyes our online banking and -£4 this end of christmas with £250 cash in house plus payday monday im happy with that especially as all our outgoings are dropping significantly with every bill paid off ... Just Paid another £35 off Barclays card so thats coming down nicely PAD is amazing it coaxes you into paying off rather than spending ive actually not been on grabbits today online just updated payment bits etc which is definetely becoming more of a habit now rather than shopping !!fab!!
got work tonight, needs be and all that tho right flying to be done and to pot a pound ...2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.0 -
I know what you mean, I think PADDING is very motivational as it means you are thinking about your debt every day whereas paying a monthly sum means you quickly forget it, and it just becomes another one of those things that you pay for out of your wage like bills - that's how it seems to me anyway. Talking of which, just off to make my daily PAD :-DEmergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0

I have no patience what so ever so for me to see numbers drop daily it keeps me going, my worse trait is never completing anything so this putting 1 debt at a time on my card is kinda slowing me down too... Sorry to hear about your fire hwfairy have u decided if your getting a new 1 yet ? .... I've earned £60 on ebay today I'm itching to spend but think I may look into transferring into bank so I can pay it off debts iv got shed loads to sell just wondering if it costs a lot...2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.0

We've decided not to replace it, so will just be layering up and using a duvet on the sofa. DH and the boys report that they actually don't feel cold often, so it's just me being a wuss.....Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0
