Probably 3 points and an £80 fine for each.

Dont forget to notify your insurance. They may want £££ though..

But if you dont tell them then you may not be covered when they find out.

Cancelling your policy for failure to disclose information. Going to be an expensive December.

The reason for asking is that it's a legal requirement for a notice of intended prosecution (NIP) to be sent to the registered keeper and should be received by the RK within 14 days of the offence. If that is not done then the prosecution would fail.
Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.

Its strange they did not quote the exact speed I was driving. Instead they just said I "exceeded 40 in a 30" :/

Also did something stupid. This is my first every offense and the minute I got the notice I admitted fault and wrote a letter to go along with it - where I said sorry, admitted it was my fault, said it was my first ever offense in 10 years of driving and then stupidly mentioned the possibility that I might have been flashed again last week (the second offense I referred to in my OP).

    Majaor CRINGE!!!

Knowing my luck they will investigate and do me for other charges.

Such a moron when bad things happen lol

That letter wont generate any action other than them maybe taking the p out of you in the ticket office. Any action for the second offence will be triggered when a roll of camera film (or digital equivalent) turns up in the office with a picture of your car on it.

As others have stated it will be 3 points and a £60 fine for each offence though for one of the offences you may be offered a speed awareness course which costs between £80 and £120, zero points and half a day off work. You are only allowed to do one speed awareness course every 3 years.

I'm curious as to which police force it is that doesn't put the speed on their NIPs though. Surprised no-one has challenged this in court yet.
