I think you will find that you get your payment on the 28th Kelsi, this is what i was told and my signing date is also Christmas day.

Still no payments.

I signed on on the 20th and I've just checked my account and it doesn't even show up as a pending payment so it looks like I won't be getting it tomorrow.

I bank with HSBC.

But if it the money takes 3 days to clear how is it meant to clear when the bank is shut 25th and 26th (for payments due on 28th) if the banks are shut it'll only have Thursday to clear as it states 'three working days' as these two are not working days I'm presuming it will come tomorrow

DWP can issue same day or faster payments now.

I had a payment for JSA issued on the sameday.

plus bacs doesn't take 3 days now it takes 24/48 hours now.

sometimes the advisors at the jobcenter arnt very clear on things and give ppl false information its like going round in circles, hence i use what the office site says

Hi I'm due my payment on the 1st of january but looked on there website and it said ill be paid on the monday 31st december but I thought new years eve was a bank holiday to. So will the money be reach my bank then if its closed I'm so confused!! Please help me x

New year's eve is not a bank holiday. New year's day is ( and the next day in Scotland)

Well depending where your money is paid to i guess you can only wait till tomorrow to see.

Im suppose to be paid on 31st of december to. But im hoping it will be paid tomorrow as thats what the agent told me on the phone.

Thanks ill just have 2 wait see now, I know the job centres open on new years eve n that's when they may process it but I thought banks were closed! I just don't know what 2 think any more lol iits just hear that many different things from people
