yoursuresave broadband does short term contracts, monthly ones in fact. £23 a month inc line rental
google yoursuresave broadband £23
I don't have broadband but get a good 3G signal with Three and normally get around 5MB download speeds which is good enough to watch iPlayer in HD.
It's always an option. I'd buy different sims, top them up and test your speeds on speedtest.net to see which is the best.I am a moneysaver0 -
Then you need to use a network that gives you a decent 3G signal at the location.
It's not £50 per month, it should be nearer £20, but you can't avoid the need to have a working line installed first if you want ADSL broadband, and no one will do that for free unless you are taking a normal minimum term contact. So a sum upfront is unavoidable.
I have tried many networks. Unfortunately, none of them could cope with iPlayer streaming or torrents and that's in a city centre.
In any case, the only one that is affordable for unlimited tethering that I know of is 3?0 -

Thanks for this. Got any more info? There aren't many reviews and the site is very sparse and dodgy looking. But the price and service looks good if they can deliver...0 -
I can't seem to find anything bad about them on the web anywhere, which is always a good sign but they are relatively new by the looks of things.
The broadband product doesn't look too bad at all if, as you said, they can deliver. The short term contracts are handy, especially if you move about a lot.I am a moneysaver0 -
Its a comparism site
"About Us
Yoursuresave.com is the UK’s newest comparison service. We work on behalf of the customer to find the most suitable product at the best possible price "
They are reselling this broadband by the look of things. http://www.hometelecom.co.uk/
They dont recommend monthly contracts if you look carefully the minimum term is 6 months.
"Flexible Contract- Flexible 30 day contracts*
- Option to take your service with you after six months (subject to availability)
We can organise any length of contract as long as it’s above six months, just let us know when you sign up and we will organise that for you. If you are not entirely sure how long you will need your contract for then choose the minimum six month contract, after which you can extend it on a month by month basis as long as you stay at the residence."

Hi
I too would like some advice please about broadband and line rental.
Looking through this weeks mse tips i think i may be paying too much for line rental and broadband.
Currently my line rental is with BT ~£50/quarter. I don't use home phone at all, so have set the number to receive incoming calls only even though i know it has free weekend calls to other bt landlines i think. The line was installed a while ago now purely for the purpose of connecting to the internet. I'm with plusnet broadband 'Extra' package at £12.99/month for 60gb. I usually come close to going over this 60gb limit so an unlimited package would be ideal.
This is probably a silly question but does everyone need to have a BT line? and is it still the case that it is cheapest to pay line rental directly to BT? or are other providers cheaper? would i need a new line installed or they can provide the line rental service through a bt line without me having to still be paying bill to bt? Is it possible to have one company that i pay for both line rental and broadband that is not BT. The BT line was installed 2+years ago.
I think i've put it off because since i switched from aol to plusneti have received a great continuous service with no problems, and hesitant to switch line rental provider as it might disrupt my service or the company my be cheaper but i'd receive terrible service. Any recommendations and positive reviews.

For any ADSL broadband you need a BT-based landline, and to pay line rental-but it doesn't have to be BT.
BT are one of the most expensive providers around.
Why don't you switch your calls and line rental to Plusnet? There will be no service issues, as Plusnet runs on the BT network anyway(they're owned by BT and resell BT'swholesale product). Further saving if you use Line Rental Saver. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Any more ideas on this? Is it seriously not possible for < £35/month?0

You can sign up for a years contract, and then move the contract when you move house. If the new house already has a phone line that just needs reconnecting, the costs should be minimal.0
