Hi Guys
Another week! Where is this year going
....anyway whats everyone having this week? Here is my mealplan:
Sunday-Lamb, Roasties, Yorkies (leftover in freezer) New Pots, Cabbage, Carrots & Parsnips
Monday-Meal at John Lewis (have a £25 voucher for their restaurant due to complaint:D )
Tuesday-Fish Fingers, Mash & Mushy Peas
Wednesday-Chicken, Mini Roasties, French Beans & Sweetcorn
Thursday-Shepherds Pie, Cabbage & Carrots
Friday-Steak, Chips, Salad & Garlic Bread
Saturday-Ham, Salad & Baked Spuds
Some of the days may get switched, but thats what we have this week and we have all in bar veg which will be needed mid week from market. Trying to use up some of the frozen veg we have. Salads twice this week with the weather warming up, but I have to have something hot with each meal, so we normally include a baked spud or new pots
Have a good week peeps.

I just cook the chicken and the bacon (along with onions, mushrooms or whatever you want) then add tin of condensed soup (mushroom as its what we have in cupboard) then mix in cooked pasta then put in dish, sprinkle with cheese and bung in oven.
There was a nice chicken and brocolli pasta bake on the good food magazine site that I can recommend if you want something a bit different - hang on will try to find link...

Hi All, I normally stick to the same plan every week, but I want to use up some stuff lying around in the freezer so going to have a bit of change this week.
Monday - roast chicken, stuffing, gravy, sprouts, carrots, swede/potato mash, roast parsnips ( should have had the chicken today, but not feeling too well and can't be standing in the kitchen cooking a big dinner today!!)
Tuesday - chicken curry from left over chicken with rice
Wednesday - I'm going to try and do a pasta bake as suggested above- sounds really nice.
Thursday - have a big bag of beef mince in the freezer and loads of onions, so will prob do a shepherds pie
Friday- make a lasagne from the leftover beef mince. already hace some lasagne sheets
Saturday - egg & chips????
Sunday - Going to look for a nice, cheapish cut of lamb for Sunday when we go shopping.
Should be a nice cheap shopping week this week!!Marriages are made in heaven, but then again so is thunder and lightning!!!.....getting divorced lol :j
