Morning all. Isn't xmas so much work!
Going to 15 mins of quick tidying (maybe two lots). Just to remove things that are annoying me
:j
Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!" Less things. Less stuff. More life.
Fab thread: Long daily walks0 -
morning ...thanks for all the GW vibes.......sadly the Skint Ritz is turning back into the Skint Pitz, and I am more than a bit fed up
resting up is messing up more than the house....I have cut my food down by half as I am not using the energy I usually do and have cut my insulin by a third to compensate, but my blood sugar is sky high and making me feel really really sick, which in turn is going to make flybaby even more unwell.
I managed to get in and out of @rgos in 3 minutes yesterday for DS present from flybaby.......when he came back from being with EX and had a big stack of stuff that he is not allowed to open, I felt very sorry for him....so I let him open his Aqu@doodle, he keeps coming up and kissing my tummy and telling flybaby how much he loves his present..........he didn't settle til very late last night but went straight to it and has played lovely with it for ages already this morning.
Quite a disturbed night, as there was a car fire nearby at 3am, so i had to call the fire brigade on that one.....going to struggle to get food and basics done today.....if I don't catch up with my list today, I will check Fred later
PS LW now your frog is ribbitting in the post box, forget about it and enjoy some downtime with Mr LW
The cold never bothered me anyway0 -

Good afternoon

DH is walking the dog. DD2 is at her trial shift - she was so nervous! I hope it goes ok.
DH & DS are picking up DD1 from Uni today (and her hamster that DS is looking after over Christmas). She is only staying until Thursday as she is spending Christmas with the BF and his family. She is back with us the Sunday after Christmas until after New Year.
Busy week ahead. I need to get the house sorted, finish my Christmas shopping, wrap everything, get the food sorted, etc. Oh and I am working all week. DH is supposed to be off all week, but he has an interview Monday, work Tuesday (meetings because of the complaint against him, and his counter complaint) maybe needs to be in work on Wednesday and taking DD1 back to uni on Thursday! Not much of a week off
And I MUST, MUST, MUST finish my assignment
Once that is out of the way, I will feel more able to cope the rest of it
Ok - I am going to cook lasagne for tea, pop to the shops (probably Aldi) and do some studying.0 -
Hello again. I have done everything off this morning's list including cleaning all the windows inside with DHs help. EXCEPT that I've decided I am no longer doing any cleaning in DDs room. She's in her mid 20s so can do it herself.
Curtains are also down in the kitchen ready to go in machine when last of clothes washing is done.
Going to waste some time on here now before taking the dogs for another walk and going out for Sunday lunch with DH.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Still wrapping and the gerbil's still under my bed!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20
MBNA £55000 -
Hex - I'd already had HH on the kitchen sofa with the tablet and DS3.
House is looking much tidier and cleaner.
Cold atm as DS has the dining room french doors open to fit draught excluder. My new kitchen window has just been delivered and I love it. Fitting will be mid Feb. ALso have been planning moving a wall upstairs to even up the size of DS1's large and DS3's tiny bedrooms.
Time for a cuppa then bathroom cleaning for me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Haven't read upto date sorry xx
Tree is up and Ironing done.
I'm tidying LR again and weather inside is extremely frosty.

I think I'm going to have to do some serious tidying up here. We've got several people coming to dinner tonight and I don't think there is a single place in the house where I could stand still and not see piles of stuff that should be somewhere else. I'm going to do five minutes in each room or area until it doesn't look like a tornado has blown through.
I'm sorry several Flyladies don't like wrapping presents. It's my favourite part of the the preparations. Virtual 'wrapping with wings' vibes to everyone confronted by separate piles of stuff and rolls of paper.Better is good enough.0
