I over did it earlier in the week and so spent yesterday crying with pain
, today I have managed to struggled around W*itrose with Dr Dragon to get the shopping in (and I think we will get there nice and early next Saturday before the madness hits!
Next week the main things to do are clear the Sofa of Doom, collect my repeat prescription (it was due to run out between Christmas and New Year so I got it in early!) hmm might try and move the sofa next weekend - once I have cleared the carp around it with Dr Dragons help!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Well at the beginning of the busiest week at school - I have cracked a tooth which seems to be disintegrating.....
Oh joy!
Sending LW and The Dragon multiple spoons and healing vibes....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
All partied out. Tots are fast asleep in car. DS roused as I shut the engine off and said "just want to stay" so there they both are, and I'm sat here in the dining room where I can see them.
Our elf has "brought" them a new jigsaw lol, they will be amazed when they see him. It's a snowman puzzle so I think they will enjoy that.
Just quickly done a toy pickup, think we will take a few upstairs. DD has very little in her room, but does have storage space. She would have gotten out of bed I think, but she's a bit older now and usually stays put. She hasn't even tried to scale the wall to get to her advent calendar...
Better to wake them really, or I'll never get them into bed tonight!!!Bossymoo

Been to town. Used tesco points coupon to buy a ready meal for my lunch, some shampoo (used to get 3-4-2 on my shampoo everywhere it's £1 a bottle now, no offer but Tesco have 2 for £1.80), so 'free' shopping:T Found 10p. Got discount on the sole-and-heel repair on my boots - the ones my friend gave me because they're too high for her - they fit me and I have worn them and worn them.:D
Realised I had enough points on my card to grab the Soap and Glory set £27 FOR FREE :Tand found out that the Body Shop card in my magazine was worth £15 :T- bought the bauble thing DD has been subtly pointing out to me every time we were anywhere near a Body shop, bought some face and body wash for DS and a little peppermint foot lotion for me.:cool:

Have not managed to get on for the past couple of days. It's been really busy.
Up to level 2 done in all rooms and more Christmas cards wrote and presents wrapped. Nearly at the end of it now. Will not need a lot of food shopping as I'm at DDs Christmas Day then at her ex in laws on Boxing Day. Got a busy week next week so trying to keep on top of everything.
Dailies done today and will get some more wrapping done. Got loads of programmes to catch up on that I've recorded so will catch up on those tonight. Neighbours cards will get deliver in the morning when I'm out for the paper.
Hugs, spoons and sticks where needed.0 -
Flyladies, please sit down, I have some shocking news. I have flown for the first time in ages. This is what I have done, in no particular order:
Washed and wiped up
Walked dogs twice
Done shopping with DH
Wrapped all pressies (can't post them yet as DD needs to wrap hers to add to parcel, so that will wait till Monday now)
Sorted recycling
Cleared 3 hotspots
Had a bit of a change round of stuff (now have a nice clear hallway and no chairdrobe in bedroom)
Sorted out all DSs clothes which will be leaving the house tonight to go to his new home along with his and his GFs Xmas pressies
Hoovered/swept and mopped through house
Finally framed & put up a photo of DDs graduation
Updated Mr T order (will probably still make further changes)
Done some comping for first time in ages (you've gotta be in it to win it)
and have eaten two mince pies, and not even glimpsed at the newspapers yet. Just having a cuppa before pondering my next move, which could well be from desk to sofa.
Have a great evening everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Ironing mountain reducing.......
OH has shirts ironed well into the New Year - and i can heave a sigh of relief.... have I told you how much I hate ironing shirts?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Healing hugs to Lamewolf and Dragon.
CY if you send the shirts to me I'll send you DD's pleated school skirts. Like you I have ironed all DH's shirts and he's now off work until 2nd Jan when he travels to Barnsley.
Jazee well done! I wish I could accomplish something like that tomorrow.
I have begun to compile a list of jobs for him. It's 15 lines long so far and I'm adding to it as I think of things.
DD2 did her gymnastics show. She was great but it was the most disorganised event I have ever had the misfortune to attend. Normally I support raffles but it was £5 a strip. The best prize on offer was of moderately more value than the ticket price so I kept my purse in my pocket. They charged me £3.50 for DS3's ticket. The show was on a flat surface so only the people in the first 3 rows saw anything. I did alot of browsing on my phone.
We are out to dinner at a friend's tonight. I'm really tired after getting up at 6. I hope a glass or 4 of wine will revitalise me.0 -
Today has been "lost" due to both of us spending hours and hours on the wretched we-don't-give-ATOS form.:( I talked, Mr LW wrote. It's been scanned so that I have a copy on the computer for when they lose it, and it's now in its envelope to be taken to the post box when we take Jessie for walkies tomorrow.
I need a very large drink!
Mr LW is cooking egg'n'chips for our dins because I'm completely drained.:AIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
That's a big frog dealt with LW :j
