Morning everyone. My things to do today:

Walk dogs and drop off prescription request for DD (she has run out of one kind of tablet so need to check also if she's ok just taking the other one on its own)
Do meal plan for 22 Dec to 4 Jan (25th is sorted!)
Wrap parcel ready to post tomorrow
    Hoover downstairs
Go out for Sunday lunch (all booked, yay)

I may also do something like cleaning inside of windows, then again, I may not. Right time for a soak.

Have a great day flying everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all

Horrendous night with DS3's cough and DH's continuous snoring. One glass of water drank, DW emptied, mogs fed.

Having a cuppa then WM and hoovering - not in the mood to le the sleeping 3 have any peace.

House is quiet. DS2 in bed only the littles ones up andvtheyvare watching TV in their nightclothes.

Now to brave the temperamental shower. Plumber comes today.

Well done on eating that frog lamewolf.

Bossymoo wrapping is a real frog here. I hate doing it because it makes me ache. A clever flylady tweeted about using an ironing board to wrap on to stop bad backs which sounds good to me. I just need to remember where mine is!

Some serious attempts to get jobs finished here DS2 has a bedroom door for the first time in months, I think we took it off to fit his carpet when his room was finished last Christmas. The temporary panelling is gone and DH has built in a bookcase for him, plus I moved one from the LR. He now has floor space, and room to play.

The bathroom (also technically finished last year) finally has a lovely oak window ledge. Just need to get some skirting board and it will be done.

I am also ruthlessly emptying the LR this was the 'family' room and was full of toys that never get played with. One bookcase has gone upstairs, two plastic box towers will be emptied and go to the greenhouse or the shed, the blanket box will go to SSs room so he can tip the floordrobe in. Does anyone else have a teenager who complains that they can't tidy because they need more storage yet the wardrobe is empty?

Out this morning to get some hooks for the back of bedroom doors and for the cloakroom. One day this house will be tidy and decluttered again. It hasn't been since I went back to work five days a week

Lamewolf - lots of spoons from me. Hope you feel a little better now the frog is gone.

ETA and hugs for Dusty and Mumto5 - lots of loud hoovering seems in order. Either that or leave them sleeping and have half an hour of peace on the sofa yourself?

DD still in bed - first night in her own bed back from uni so probably won't see her for sometime. Have brought the artificial tree down from the loft for the lounge and lounge all tidy ready for it to go up. Real tree still sitting in the garage so will bring that in for the hall when DS moves his school bag etc.... The tree looks huge so may need a bit of butchering to fit in. Still mamy, many presents to wrap:(
