Lounge floor a lot clearer now. Hubby delivered lots of presents.

Need to put final decs out so we can put some boxes away.

I bought a sewing machine and my planned hobby room isn't anywhere near ready to accept incomings aka the room of doom :(

The whole xmas thing/stuff is making it harder to fly lady. Having to do lots of other things at the moment. But at least I'm trying

    :j
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

    Evening!
Have been out on my works "do". Have had a few "pitying looks" and comments but other than that it was really nice. But by 8.30 I did feel I'd had enough. Some of my colleagues will no doubt end up at a club, but I was starting to feel anxious, and my home was calling.
So here I am, with some Pringles and a chai tea latte ;)
No flying. Kids with granny and gramps, will catch up tomorrow.

I've sat here too long, very cold now. Need to iron DS2 a shirt for tomorrow so I'll move and see if that warms me up.

lol, I am on a time budget......coupled with the fact I can't sleep because I keep coughing (have had about 7 days cough free since end of Sept, so its wearing a bit thin now!) plus heartburn.....this belly is not getting any smaller, so I have to do a lot of jobs sitting on the floor now, soon gravity will mean an elasticated belly brace and possibly crutches which will clip my wings :eek::eek:

but the worst bit about sitting on the floor to do jobs, is seeing things from a different perspective means you see MORE stuff that needs doing - before I joined this thread I walked round with my eyes shut, didn't look in mirrors and convinced myself the house was too much of a state to make a dent in because I was always on the run.

I will have been in this house 6 years on the 18th, but it only the last few weeks that it feels like MY house, even though it is still like the house in that 1980's film "the Money Pit" in terms of things that are broken and need fixing, which I can't do and don't have the credit available to fix.

As long as I get 4 or 5 hours sleep across 24 hours, I can function :D:D, more would be nice though;)

I still have some painting to do before end of the week, as I *might* be getting some assistance with tiling in the next week or so, so my downstairs loo might yet get on-line before flybaby arrives, but I have said I will only create more mess decorating if the fly list is up to date before I lift the lid on the tin ;)

right time for another cuppa - liquid motivation in a mug :D back soon to update the list and cross stuff off
