I really dislike our neighbours

Does anybody else have really awful, unreasonable neighbours? I hate our neighbours, they are hateful people, the whole neighbourhood dislikes them......I would love to hear if it is just us with this issue or if others are afflicted with this terrible disease

What do you neighbours do, that makes them so hateful?

I once had a neighbour who would have rave parties, quite literally all night, and he had professional DJ equipment, and the pictures on the wall literally were bouncing around.

I don't like my neighbours and they don't like me. That's the problem, I think I'm totally reasonable and I'm sure they think they are too. I'm not sure whether to sympathise with you or not yet!!! You may be just like them and I may be just like your neighbours. As already asked what makes unlikeable?

My neighbour one side it fabulous, she saves me from all things 8 legged and I save her from live mice ;)
The other side however.......well lets just say this elderly woman thinks she's the Godfather of the road since she's lived here since it was built. Nasty piece of work who hides behind her pious facade.....

The simple solution is - ignore them.

Yes. One side is about as selfish as it's possible to be with absolutely no regard for anyone but themselves.

Nope - one side lovely couple who give us free eggs from their hens, other side nice old chap who keeps himself to himself (possibly has had a stroke and struggles to talk) but is very pleasant on occasional chats even if it takes a while to get the point out. Both have lent us tools and vice a versa, neither object or moan when we are having work done. We don't live in each others pockets but don't make life harder for the sake of it either.

I'm sure our neighbours hate us on one side. They are very quiet and keep themselves to themselves, they have asked us to turn music down ( during parties) a few times but we have always been more than happy to on the occasions when it's been a problem. Our old neighbours other side used to be brill, got on really well, they didn't say anything about or music and we didn't complain a out there's when they had friends round.

Now they have moved on we have horrible, horrible neighbours that side. The kids are still running round at 10pm ( 4 young ones), I've heard her screaming and swearing at them in the evenings. I can always hear the kids screaming all day long. Some of my kids toys have gone missing out the yard since they moved in. They run along the back yard walls and I'm frightened one will fall off. When one threatened to throw a brick at my son ( who is 3) tho I lost it and told her I'd knock her off the wall if she even tried it! They really are just horrid :(
