Here's your first bit of Tony Robbins. It's all about the momentum created by making one decision to take action.MortgageMamma wrote: »Perhaps we should challenge ourselves to some charity mountain hike or something next year? raise some money for something worthwhile....
Make the decison to set yourself the target of organising and taking part in a charity hike by say, September.
Then tommorow, make the decision to investigate locations and do something about it.
Then, on Tuesday, make the decision to pick a charity and call them to let them know your plans and ask for their help in arranging it and setting a target.
Then, the day after make the decision to contact every mortgage adviser you know to invite them to take part and follow them up.
Result, you get a target, get fit and do something good - rather than just talking about it and asking a bunch of fat men sat watching lost if they fancy it.I am an IFA (and boss o' t'swings idst)You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an IFA, so you need to take my word for it. I have raised over £10K for charity in the last 12 months and another £14K form the two years' previously.
I organise charity events every month of the year, even through my being ill.
Can't look at your feet either, hands won't allow me to do any of that work any more - sorry!0 -

No bikes for me. Fractured spine aged 19 in an off track mountain biking tourney never been on one since. Hiking would be really good though
