What's happened to the BBC testcard?

It just suddenly vanished!

It was the best thing on tv, and i used to look forward to watching it every morning!

Now that the jokes have been made are you referring to the text service on BBC digital channels? This is still functioning and is referred to by some people as text or ceefax(even if incorrectly).

Try unplugging your tv/freeview box for a minute or two and try using the 'red button' services.

I get this occasionally and just unplugging it works everytime for me...

I know zennith is joking about the testcard, but it hasn't gone away. A new *HD* one regularly broadcasts on BBC HD to help check your TV's (and surround sound's) calibration. Actually quite useful.
