I used to get the text service on BBC 1 / 2 until lst tuesday so how can it have stopped on the 23rd of October0 -
Ceefax was an analogue service which was gradually ceased throughout the country as the digital changeover progressed (i.e. as the analogue channels on which it was carried were switched off).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
