Hey Cinny, loving your diary, it's so motivating and inspiring, I like the idea of flycinny, think I might steal it and start flymissying. I hope Ryders paw heals and that OH's meetings went ok. I'll keep popping for motivation kicks.

Eee, that's lovely of you to say, Missy! Best of luck with the flymissying :p

I think that's the best way to do it though. Take none committal inspiration and then add your own bits! I certainly can't get away without washing my kitchen floor and hoovering downstairs everyday (plus cleaning out Ryder's crate, bowls, blankets etc) so I need to adjust for that. It did give me the kick up the bum to clean my oven though!

Feeling like everyone's engaged! My Sister is now official with a lovely ring from a boutique in Huntington Beach and my Cousin had just been in with his now fianc! flashing another gorgeous ring! So now I get all the joys and prettiness of two weddings without having to get married. Happy days!!

ETA: Forgot to mention. MusicMagpie are picking their order up tomorrow (99% sure this will happen!) and we're getting £98 for it instead of the previous £88. Perfecto!

Thats an amazing music magpie order! well done for clearing out so much stuff!
Sucky about the jobs though for you but I think you need to do something about the family one.. if theyre not paying you well but youve got lots of experience because you worked there a while then that doesn't sound right! If you enjoy the account side though can you do something about it properly? I dont know what you're doing account wise but there are a whole host of qualifications you can take!

It would have been a nice order if they picked it up! Ended up splitting them out over a couple orders, as well as using Zapper to get rid of some books while I was at it. A little annoyed though, will get around £93 which is great but consider I was meant to get more than that for less items I'm just a bit :( I think once I've got my monies I'll send them a ticked off email! Although, I've never got any answers from other email about the courier not turning up... and I'm 99% sure I sent that last Monday.

Accounts wise I do mainly the banking. Making it balance with our sage software. Debtors lists, chasing payments. Honestly, I know I'm worth a little more but I also know what they can afford. We'll be seeing our profit/loss for last year at the end of this month so if there's profit - which I'm pretty sure there will be - I think I'll be in better standing for a rise :)

So. 50 things for de-junk. Plus I went into work for 2.5 hours to clear away some year end files from over 5 years a go, and while I was there completely rearranged my desk and cleared drawers out, plus the stationary cupboard. Things that have been bugging me for ages but the woman I worked with was a real fuddy-duddy who hated anything being moved! So I'm putting that down as 4 things, one for each bin bags I cleared out  Brings me to 75/100 :j Also had 2 no spend days in a row over the weekend. Getting on a little roll here!

Wow Cinny you're doing great, you're making me feel all motivated to do some more throwing out, not that there's that much left I don't think, oh and I really should be getting on with my assignment!

    How's Ryder now?

He's great, thanks for asking :) I was a bit cheeky and took him on a walk this morning. Just a quick walk around what I guess is our block, I couldn't stand his none-walked energy anymore! :o

That's why I took a small number on for the de-junk, I didn't even think I'd make it half way but it's surprising! I'm still surprised over what we managed to pull up for music magpie :p

Good work on the decluttering Cinny. I have a mass of old files left from the person who did my job before me and I'm itching to get rid, but scared I might throw away something I shouldn't - need to wait until I've been in the job a bit longer to be sure! Although the stuff is 6+ years old so I'm sure it would be fine...

Going to tackle our bedroom cupboard today as its the last clutter zone in the house (not including the paperwork box which I still haven't done... shhhhh)

My paperwork box has been sat on top of the laundry basket since Saturday, your secret is safe with me!! How are things coming along with the house?

Spoke to my Uncle and Dad and while they can't currently offer me a payrise, they said to just put a few extra hours on my time sheet for a little extra. Which is fair enough really! Worked out last week I did over 5 hours of unexpected overtime, so that will be a nice boost to my wages this week. And will hopefully stop me worrying about getting my road tax money together!

Job No 2 decided they don't need me in until 6pm tonight, so while I'm £20 down, I have spent the afternoon eating carbs, hugging Ryder and watching Mr Selfridge while the biggest flakes of snow ever floated by the window. Got a little house work done, I could have done a lot more but honestly? It's too cold and I'm in TOTM pain.

Did pop to the shops for chocolate on my way home. Got myself a 50p packet of oreos but things to spruce tea up, and possibly a fresh baguette because of reasons fell in my basket and I spent £2.74. Also loaned OH £10, but put £3 as part of the 52 week challenge into the loan account. Will hopefully grab tomorrow as a NSD instead!

MusicMagpie does CDs, DVDs, games and (oddly!) clothes too, Missy. Just don't ask for a courier! :rotfl:

That's good news that you will be getting extra from your job, although it would obviously be good to have the security of a permanent rise, at least this shows that your experience is being appreciated.

Still no further along with the house really, every time one thing gets resolved another thing seems to pop up! Our vendors' solicitor is waiting to hear back on one query before we can complete - whatever that may mean! I've given up hoping for a date now really, it seems to be getting further away rather than closer!

How does music magpie work for clothes? Is it any good? They never want any of my cds, I don't think my taste is up to much!
