Oooh exciting tattoo news Cinny! Can you give us a clue or do we have to wait for the big reveal?

After speaking to a lovely friend (known on here as Zig, I know she's creepin' :hello:)

    Ha, busted! :D

Can't wait to see the tattoo design! And I think the singing idea for your sister is a lovely one, really personal and thoughtful :)

What you planning to do for your fitness challenge thing? I can't wait to become best buddies with Jillian again when I get back. I'm so squishy - it sucks. Can't wait to weigh myself when I get home though cuz I know I'm smaller than when I left!

Of course I'll share with my favourite girlies! I'm having a crow with "fly or die" on my collar bone, and "heel turn" at the bottom of my hair line. Both as lessons learnt last year - the collar bone one is a huge Game of Thrones nerdgasm but also stands for that moment I realised a lot had to change in my life and it was a case if stand up for myself or get pulled under. The heel turn one is part joke, but I lost contact with a lot of people and even family members last year as I'd "changed" and wasn't myself - aka, not a door mat, and they thought I'd changed for the worse when infact I hadn't felt so much like myself in years :) heel turn is wrasslin blabber for when a good guy becomes a bad guy, and it's something OH and I say over anything. The crow is a stock photo, I think. But the text is going to be my own writing :)

Good news is, after I take the tattoo money out I'll still have £100+ from my wages. Bad news is OH had to have £50 of work done to his car, and as he's been traveling to Liverpool and back all week didn't have any money to pay for it himself, with all the extra fuel. So most of what I save will get eaten up by that deflect! Still determined and motivated to get this done though. With having my debit card I'll be able to manage my money differently, and hopefully save more with odd pounds and pennies :)

I bet you'll be surprised when you get home to your old clothes and see the difference, Zig! Fitness wise I'm trying to have a green monster every morning and I'm aiming for 3 yoga meltdowns a week. If I'm honest, I think even that will be a push! I start Pilates on the 26th though :D I'm mainly trying to clean up my eating - drink more water too. I lost 11lb last month without making too many changes and I'm back down to 142.5 to start the month. My new goal is 135lb, but I can imagine that will be a long way off as I struggled to get past 139lb when I was dieting and exercising every day.
  • Hi Cinny, just having a bit of a catch up. Glad Ryder's doing OK now and managed to behave himself at the vet's! Can't wait to see your tattoos. Can't think of anything worse than having my handwriting indelibly marked on my body for ever though, it's atrocious - should've been a doctor!

I bet you are really skinny when you get back Zig, you certainly don't look squishy in your pics! I'm starting Harcombe tomorrow - something drastic needs doing to stop me eating all the things!!

Your tattoos sound great Cinny, very unique and personal. I really like hairline tattoos. I've wanted a tattoo (in theory) for years but I'm neither creative nor decisive enough to come up with something I love.

Is a green monster a smoothie? It sounds fierce, what's in it? I'm hoping to start swimming again next week but want to get back to work for a few days first and make sure I'm not overdoing it. And I finally have a finished kitchen so today's job is to unpack and stock up on goodness!

Zig, there is definitely no squishyness in your pics, you're gorgeous!

    I agree, you're looking great Zig! :)

Love the sound of the tattoos. :) I'm like Tete, my handwriting is so bad I'd hate for it to be scrawled on me for everyone to see! :o I still want a little tattoo on my wrist... too scared of the pain and too flaky to choose a design though! :)

Well done on the weightloss last month! :T I'm seriously not in the right place to be losing weight, got the winter blues badly and can't seem to pull myself out of it and stop eating rubbish! :o

  • Do the Harcombe with me Birdie! I'm on a mission! *munches on carrot stick*

I fancy a little anchor tattoo but not sure where ... something to keep pondering on...

Hmmm maybe... :o It doesn't sound too different to the low carb diet I did a while back. It was good and (after the first detox week of feeling grotty) I felt great but it was so expensive, couldn't really afford to keep it up! Why is it that the cheap, easy filler foods are the ones that are always banned on diets?! :p

  • I know I was thinking that yesterday - making a vegetable soup with no spuds and worried it wouldn't fill me without the bread, so bought some turkey to try and bulk it out ... meat is so much more expensive than bread!! AND I got turkey cos it's cheaper than chicken!

It really hit home one day when I went out for dinner with a friend and I couldn't have garlic gread for my starter or potatoes of any kind with my meal. Just had a bit of chicken and some mushrooms and left still feeling hungry... couldn't even have pudding as it was banned! :p

Are you allowed butternut squash? That's a good potato substitute. :)
