Hope you got a lie in this morning! :)

How sweet that you've turned into a garden lady, you'll be telling people off for breathing too close to your plants soon! ;)

How much did you get for your ebay sales yesterday? That's a big boost to the extra money challenge! :)

I've got £89.95 in my paypal account this morning, and spent £11 on postage yesterday :) Turns out my Mum actually won one of the items so I took the £10 cash from there to put to one side for next weeks petrol :rotfl:

2 items left selling! One is only £1.95 away from the cost it is new, so I don't figure I'll have any more bids there. Once it got past £30 I was telling OH how I felt anxious because whoever gets it wasn't getting a bargain any more, I'd be the worst sales person ever :o The other item is at £10 but has 18 watchers, so I figure that might go up a little :) I think I'll be up £130 at the end of the week which is my savings target nearly met

Also sent my self assessment forms off yesterday, I'm owed £55 which is nice! I would have been happy at just not owing them anything if I'm honest. Using it 100% on a guilt free date night; meal and a cinema!

Need to pop to the post office after work and drop 2 parcels off, then I'm hoping everyone else pays up by tomorrow and I can do one final trip. As lovely as the post office people are, it's a bit of a fanny-adams getting down there. (yeah I said it) Then I'm hoping the rain stays away and I can clean little car.

Payday tomorrow, excited to work a new budget as the envelope system really worked for me this week. I did have £3.80 left over but I donated it to the charity case that is my OH, I don't really know what he needed it for but he was babbling away and it shut him up. Romance!

But I'm wanting to figure out the full amount left on the sofa so I can set that as my goal (minus each monthly payment for every month it takes me to save up) so I can set a goal for paying it off in full. Then I can focus on saving up large chunks (£1000-1500) to pay off the car loan.

LOL, you're clearly not a natural sales woman! Whatever you do, don't try to backwards haggle with the winning bidder and talk them into paying you half because it's more of a bargain that way! ;)

Great news about hitting your target though, and the £55 owed to you! :T Enjoy your well deserved date night!

I don't get paid until Tuesday and I can't freaking wait! I've got £32 to my name and we're going away for a night on Saturday so it'll all be put towards that! We've already had to nix having lunch out on Saturday as it'll be so much cheaper to take a packed lunch and eat it at the beach! I just really hope it doesn't rain as all of our free entertainment kind of relies on it being sunny! :o

It's payday (oooh, it's payday!) Stealing 5 minutes at work to sort out my paypal, ebay and bank account. The close-to-new item sold for 95p under what you can buy it for new, I'm still stumped. Although when I bought it they were running a disney line, and I have the disney box so maybe that's what the fuss is about?! The other item jumped up to £26 :T I've not been counting that towards my total though, as it's something I swapped with my Sister so I've given her the money in return for my item. Well £25 after fees (hoping I'll be £1 up on the postage ;)) all in all I made £131 after postage on ebay this week

The amount left on the smallest loan is £1043.73, so I've moved £85 into a savings account to pay the full amount off and mentally offset the loan to under £1000. I think if I stick to my budget we'll have it paid off in November, obviously any time before that would be nice! But November is the target :)

Don't feel like I was majorly productive yesterday. I cleaned out the inside of my car, but by the time I'd done that I couldn't be bothered with the outside (I did the windows!) so left it. And now it's raining so I'm glad I didn't bother! Back to cleaning for my Grandparents today, will be nice to see them regularly again as either I'm busy or they're busy and I can't remember the last time I saw my Grandad. We've spoken on the phone, but it's not the same! I'm too attached to my Grandparents :o

Need to pop to the Post Office to post out 2 times (have 3 left to go, so I have the third with me in case the person pays up while I'm out and aboot!) and to the shop. Saw this awesome recipe for a cookie loaf, you do a layer of cookie dough then chocolate with marshmallows then MOAR COOKIE DOUGH. Bake a loaf up and serve it with ice cream. That's 100% happening in my kitchen tonight.

Hope Tuesday rocks up quickly! If it makes you feel any better, OH only has £20 to last him until the 5th of September :o Have a nice little break!!

Oh my God, I need that recipe! :D

Wow, I won't complain about my lack of funds knowing your OH has it way worse than me! I just found out that I've got my annual payrise of a whole 1.75% so I even get a little more in this month's paypacket, hoorah! :) Roll on Tuesday!

What was this item that you sold for 95p under the new price?! OH was internetting the other day and realised that if we'd have kept the shipping box that Rapunzel came in she'd be worth even more than she is, oops! We just don't have room to be storing empty boxes !!!!!!! I told him that she'll never be sold so why worry anyway, it's a daily battle to just leave her in her box as it is! :p

Have a nice time seeing your grandparents, I think it's lovely that you're so close to them! :) I wasn't close to mine as they lived far away and they were all gone by the time I was 15. :o

Loaf thing sounds amazing! I made cookies on Wednesday and ate so much cookie dough - it's loads nicer than the actual baked items!

Well done on all your dedicated ebaying! It's almost inspiring me ... but I have two weeks off before a really manic year, I don't want to spend any of that time listing, dealing with carpy buyers or in the post office queue! :D

Only one more sleep for you, Birdie! I can't find the recipe now, but I think if you just find a sure fire cookie recipe you can make the rest up? I didn't end up making it this weekend, had zero time in the end. Will either make it tonight for pudding, or tomorrow. Stayed up for Summerslam last night with 3 hours of broken sleep so I'm not feeling the most energetic today!

It was a Thomas Sabo bracelet, although the person still hasn't paid and I don't like to come over as pushy so I think I might end up losing a little offering it to the next bidder down in a few days :( It's just frustrating, but I knew I'd have one awkward item!

I know what you mean about the shipper box, if OH had kept the one for my Blyth doll it would have added about £30 to the value but what can you do!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. We were unexpectedly busy, but it was nice as we finally got across to see the inlaws new puppy! Also finally got a proper filing box (was only £2.50 too ;)) so I spent a very thrilling evening sat on the living room floor sorting boxes and boxes of random paper work into piles, and then into the box. I have a bag of things to shred too! The fun never ends. ever.

We did end up grabbing some food when we were out yesterday, so I spent £13.15 on my card out of the £20 in there for food. Technically it wasn't out of budget, but it bugged me. I think I have a problem. I did win £3.33 on a free bet though, so there's something!

Not a great deal planned MSE this week. We're going to cook from scratch, stick to our budgets and I'm hoping to get a few things on ebay. I've got that 3 free listing promotion on my account so I mareswell use them!

Ahh you're killing me, Disney + Thomas Sabo = :heartpuls

I keep meaning to sort all of our paperwork into one file. Every so often I have this awful feeling that if I died OH wouldn't have a clue about what kind of accounts I've got open in my name, where the life insurance and health insurance stuff is etc, which is pretty darn important as I'm worth a lot of money to him when I go! :o

I can't blinking wait until tomorrow when I'll have money again! We cancelled our night away on Saturday as we realised that neither of us has much money and the joint account has been emptied too! I was also feeling pretty grotty (really dizzy and fainty :() on Saturday morning and couldn't stand the thought of sitting in a car for 2 hours to get rained on when we arrived so it was a pretty easy decision to cancel! We went to see Kick !!! 2 in the afternoon when I was feeling better. :)

My money won't last long though, I have to buy OH's birthday presents and party stuff. I thought it was a lovely idea to go away for his 30th but it's actually a bit of a pain as I'm having to think of packable presents that won't take up half my suitcase and I'm also trying to plan a party for the week we get back as well as thinking about how to make it special for him whilst we're away! Why do I do this to myself?! To make it better/worse I've had the bright idea to do everything Star Wars themed and making cakes like this and trying to think of other hilariously geeky things to do, so far I've only managed to come up with Wookie Cookies!

That's one of the reasons I wanted it, to be fair. I think it's only sensible, espcially when you have peoples or someones you're leaving behind, to have all that stuff organised. As morbid as it it! This is the one we picked up. Will probably get one with a lock in the future but it's just basic things we have in there now, and I like to think there's more interesting things to steal in our house than that.

Best idea to cancel the night away, are you feeling better now?

I'm biased, but I'd throw some wrestling things in there too! Some new tshirts would be easy to pack? Decorating balloons like this! Or wrap bottles of sprite up as Yoda Soda? (totally google searched for that one!) Moments like this make me so glad OH isn't bothered by Birthdays, I wouldn't be able to manage a full blown party!

Starting to get a little yawny, a snooze is 100% on the cards for this afternoon. I was so wired at 3am, I felt I could take on the world. Just need to keep my head straight for the next hour and a bit, then I can bobble on home!

Yoda Soda- love it! :D Not sure many people would be on Sprite but I could maybe decant some kind of cocktail into little bottles?! Will be spending the evening Pinteresting and getting orders ready from some party shops for supplies! :)

I am feeling better now, just keep getting little funny spells now and again. Last weekend I had a bit of a faint in Primark! My Mum wasn't impressed as we'd just been in Cath Kidston and The White Company where I'd have been pampered and offered chilled Perrier water no doubt, but no, I had to wait until Primark where we had to sit in the stairwell and drink warm water from a questionable looking glass! :o
