    Morning.
Ok last night I was feeling very alone, I found out that my cousin had a party and had invited me and DS but no one told me! She phoned me, very drunk, asking why I hadn't gone as she knows DS has a problem with her younger sisters oldest boy so thought that was the reason.
She couldn't believe I hadn't been told but this just left me feeling unwanted and so very alone it was unbelievable.
I shouldn't be surprised though as we were always the ones who were left out of everything, even family get togethers so we're just back to that now.
I'm dreading seeing my mum today to see what she has to say about it all, probably the usual 'you said you weren't going out so I didn't tell you'

I'm spending an hour moving boxes from the sitting room into my bedroom so that at least that's ready for guests tomorrow, looking at it with fresh eyes this morning and that's all needs doing, god I blow things out of all proportion when feeling down!
The only thing that will look so out of place is the new black wheelie bin in one corner with a dismantled 10ft trampoline in it :rotfl: I'll have to move that into the yard and cover it.
The Xmas tree looks OK, not the best I've done but certainly not the worst and DS thinks it's funny so that's ok too :o

This is our first year without DH where we're in our own house, last year I didn't have to bother because we were living with my mum and dad so I think it's all just hitting me now.

I don't need to worry about the cooker for turkey because my brother's doing it all this year, his 1st ever try and it's about time too!

Sorry I'm rambling on, will catch up later when I've moved a few things.
Sorry to hear that you are feeling down,i am not in a good place at ther moment, and although i have not lost my dh and do not know how you feel, i do not have any family here they have all scattered them selves abroad, well the only 2,so xmas as always tough.
Have just buried my aunt so that is difficlult amonust other things, but we have to try and be strong and hopefully ther is a light at the tunnel and with the support on here it all helps.
Keep strong and thinking of you x:A

it's nice to be able to help out. not always easy to judge how people will take it. I have a very young single mum further down my street who is obviously struggling. I invited her in for a coffee and she ended up gratefully taking loads of toys that my kids are grown out of. Ive given her some chocs and other bits and pieces earlier this week and found out she was having Xmas by herself, so invited her fir dinner with her LO as well as my OHs friend who's wife has just kicked him out...and the elderly next door neighbour, who usually goes to his daughters but she us on a cruise this year and he is on his own....so should be interesting if nothing else!

sounds like you got a mega xmas day hun , and room for one more :rotfl:,

and i bet the lady down the street has been more at peace since you did that and sleept better , you are very kind , and just wanted to say,and know shes got some company over xmas i bet has made her xmas , and one kind turn desurves another and im sure your kind turn will come soon hun:A:A:A:A:A

I'm at work today:eek: I always do the Sunday before chrimbo but it's usually fairly quiet.

DD is being taken out today by her Nan and Granddad to go see her Great Nan so hopefully OH will do a bit of cleaning :rotfl:

    Have a fab day x

    morning:)

does anyone know if T's are still taking A's apgs? TIA:) I have just realised I have loads of SSM mocs to use up. They expire in a couple of days:eek: I hate throwing mocs out. It's such a waste.
They took mine yesterday but personally I only use those under £10 as the larger ones don't scan.
  • Morning all. I have been been off for a couple of months to sort out my life. I wonder if someone still remembers me?Merry Christmas everyone

Me too in 3 different extras. I think if you get a SA that scans it it works but if you get a trout who use "initiative" you're screwed. Pick wisely. Looking hungover is a good choice if they are students.

I've used a couple of apg's in T that were over £10, the SA just typed in the amount like they do in A.
