  • Ok, I need a bit of help.

I've just got a letter about DH's personal pension, they are after a copy of his will or written confirmation there is no valid will. Who do I get this written confirmation from?
Also what is a 'lump sum death benefit'? He had only started paying into this so had under £100 paid in, I'm assuming this is what it's talking about.
I'm at a loss as I thought this was all dealt with, they also want the forms I filled in over a year ago done again and the Death Cert sent in again.
Could they not have just waited until the new year? It's hard enough at this time without getting this :(
    Sorry for all the questions
A lump sum death benefit is just that - a sum of money paid out when someone dies - my pension gives a lump sum if I die before I get to claim it, if no will the rules state that mine is paid to my estate, sorry that you are having to deal with this at this time of year x
