Savvybuyer wrote: »Also, on the subject of fruit/veg. etc, and £1 for kg packs of fruit - note that Aldi this week have Super6 on packs of carrots, parsnips and clementines - and that these are, by weight, significantly cheaper than, for example, comparing A v S on the loose carrots - although I acknowledge it was different here as you were comparing A on the Persil. (You mean good saving in A on the Persil small & mighty at the moment - vs S - as S work out as costing you 10% more.) The packs of carrots, parsnips (500g) and clementines are 39p each in Aldi. There are also packs of sprouts and onions for the same price. A pack of clementines from Aldi is much better, at the mo, than comparing A v M on satsumas as the main stores tend to go to prices of £1 rather than, sometimes, much cheaper.
Thank you so much for this, you have saved me a trip
