On a side note, I bought myself some pickled walnuts the other week as never had them. Cant bring myself to open the jar and give them a bash, has anyone had them before, and what are they like??

Looked in Sunderland A and S and Pet*rl*e but no others found.
On a side note, and just out of idle curiosity, why did you * out Peterlee & Seaham, but not Sunderland? (yes, yes, I know I did too! :rotfl: )“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Thanks bubbs, and everyone else who's responded here and on PM
I can't believe the police didn't even come out to you, bubbs
First thing I'm going to do is get a quote for repair and take it from there. MIB seems to have a £300 excess so might not be worth it....
If the offending driver is located and named, then the insurer'e of the vehicle he had stolen have a legal obligation to deal with any claim in accordance with the RTA (Road Traffic Act).
Should the driver not be located and named, then the claim will have to be submitted to the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB)
Unfortunately, if the claim proceeds through the MIB then you will have to pay the initial amount of £300 which you will not be able to recover I'm afraid.
Hope this is of use.0 -
Well I've had a fun day
Most importantly everyone is unhurt but some idiot got drunk, stole a car, crashed into a taxi, reversed into my car (with me and 19 month old daughter on board) whilst attempting to drive away then did a runner whilst we all waited at the roadside for the police
I would have physically detained him (if not for fear of assault charges) or pursued him (if not for the fact my daughter was in the car)
I wonder how the insurance claim will go on this one considering the other car was reported stolen. Anyone any experience of that?

That is terrible, must have been so scary, especially with a babe in the car. Glad you are both ok:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

Off to get my beauty sleep .......after I have cleaned my face with L'Oreal Age Perfect De-Crinkling cleansing milk - cracked me up when I saw that on the front label :rotfl:
Currently £4.50 bogof at T's
pp it against A's £2.00 each and get 50p back
Use two L'Oreal £2.50 coupons and get 50p off shop in T's (with fillers and ideally other stuff which will be cheaper at A's to make it worthwhile).
2 bottles of De-Crinkling milk and £1.00 up.
Think I would be better off using in the morning to deal with the creases that seem to be ever appearing0 -
Had a flipping trout of a SA earlier! Found the not-so-half price meat which scanned through at full price. Took it to CS an she tries to convince me that it was the right price. She claimed that the £xx.xx per kg on the label was the reduced price. So I had to drag her to the shelf and he her that she wrong, but she still wasn't having any of it!
Eventually I managed to convince her, but she only refunded me the half price. I mentioned that a "friend" had recently had a similar issue with a tshirt and got double back. Well, as you can guess, she was having none of it! So I got them for half price. Not so bad, but still pee'd off with the silly cow!
Anyone had the same problem and complained to HO and did it do any good?0
