  • I think the slow cooker always does a grand job, may be with a good glug of some glitchy wine :D. I'll cut mine into 2 or even 3 and freeze the other pieces.

I am a bit of a hypocrit when it comes to red meat. Love it when cooked but touching it uncooked makes me feel yucky:(

I know what you mean, especially when it's a joint. I'm not a lover of rare meat either, prefer mine well done :)

Well at least with the site going down in ten mins, I may get to bed at a decent hour on a school night.

    It's completely road worthy.

It looks like there is just one area of damage. It's not a scratch or a dent which I've had fixed before easily enough, this is a proper gouge out of the metal. I have no idea if that can be filled in or if the whole bumper needs to be replaced.....

I'll have a proper look in the daylight. There may be scratches/cracks/etc that i can't see in the dark

It could have been a whole lot worse. I saw him coming and at the last second I was able to kick my own car into reverse so that when he hit me we were both moving in the same direction

Sorry to hear this. You should replace the child car seat even if no damage is visible to it - the impact could have reduced its strength. Your car insurance should pay for this - if they refuse ask them to put in writing that it is not effected by a collision.
