Nope, have to go today if I go at all, they're going to Paris for the day, the train out of London is too early to be able to get the train down in the morning, likewise they get back too late for me to be able to get back home.

Are they having a meal/drinks in London tonight? Perhaps join them for that and stay over but instead of going to Paris, come home in the morning? Although that will prob be £££...

Honestly Dinah, I think you should go. I think you need to do this as part of some sort of self-therapy. Paris will be wonderful too! Grace will be fine, she's a happy, thriving little girl and I'm sure she'll have a lovely time with NIM, Granny and Grandad!

Tete's suggestion is good too, go down and if you really can't bear to go, get a train back home in the morning.

Nope, nothing on tonight, it's all tomorrow. I just feel so useless to not be able to do something that should be fun rather than a challenge.

I'm fairly sure I won't be going, I've been crying uncontrollably all morning, once I got it into my head I wasn't going I feel less like the world is closing in.

When do you next see your counsellor? This'll be a good one to discuss, they may be able to give you some techniques to deal with the separation anxiety too. *Big Hugs*

See her a week today I think it is, wish it were sooner, this is a definite low point. I just feel like this is ridiculous, I'm being asked to go to Paris for the day while her grandparents look after her, not to throw her in a pit of spikes and wild dogs while I go get teeth pulled while in a burning building.

Dinah - I haven't even left Poppy for a whole night yet , have gone out in the evening but always there is the morning. Going to be leaving her with OH's sister for my hen do in may from sat to sunday and am dreading it!

Put the saving through council tax in savings for Feb and am doing the same again this month. Is helping the wedding savings.

Hey, it's OK, at least you're recognising that there's an issue here. Why don't you call up and try to see if they've got a cancellation so you can be seen sooner?

In the meantime, make a cuppa and look at YouTube for some CBT/Relaxation techniques.

Is strange for me as well because I have no problem leaving her 4 days a week at nursery so not sure why i find it hard in other situations.
