Doing the filing room voluntarily or because it needs doing as part of your job?

End of the day whoever she is, he's the one who owes you honesty and fidelity, she owes you nothing so if she did make a move, meaningless, it's how he reacted to that that is your concern. I know we shouldn't judge differently that it's a female friend, but we were all pretty shocked he was staying away without telling you when we thought it was male, but I do think it adds an extra concern that it's female - even if it's just that he 'forgot' to tell you because he thought you'd say no, and he wanted to stay with her. If he's away for work why aren't they putting him up in a hotel?

If he was staying with a female friend, maybe that's why he didn't tell you - not because of anything going on but because he thought you might not like it? Not to say that makes it right in any way still, I think it actually makes it worse irrespective of whether there was any 'intent' on his part. I just find his behaviour deeply disrespectful to you. I think CMD is very wise to say listen to your gut, only you know deep down what you find acceptable and what you are prepared to put up with.

Phew, just got an email through to say a refund has been processed, it's for £199 but I was worried they wouldn't give me it as I'm a week outside the returns period.

    (Erm, what's Tipping Point?)

Tipping Point is a game show centered around the concept of the 2p machine from the arcade. ;) The people on there are all really nice to each other and like to talk their way through the journey of each token that is dropped! Sweet! :) I'll make sure I'm home early next week to watch you! :)

Good news about the refund. :)

Still none-the-wiser! ?? Exciting to be on TV though Shrimpy!

    What's the refund for Dinah?

Augh Ruby. I don't want to comment too much as I don't know you or him IRL, but it all seems a bit fishy to me. I don't know if I ever said on here but I'm over it enough now to tell the full story - my ex started being horrible to me for no reason when we moved in together - I couldn't do right for doing wrong. He made out that he wasn't well, had depression etc. Then dumped me for no good reason, was really horrible to me throughout all of it - all completely out of character as the relationship had been great up until then. Few months later it turns out he'd been cheating on me - he said only for a couple of weeks but I don't believe that, his behaviour had changed way before that.

I'm not saying that YOUR OH is necessarily cheating, but you have more reason to suspect foul-play than I ever did. He needs to give you some proper answers about what's going on. Don't let him treat you like crap because you'll regret it in a couple of years. (And you don't deserve it and you're worth more than that) (I'm always tempted to seek out my ex and give him a piece of my mind now that I've come to my senses, but of course if I did that now I'd be a psycho-b!tch-ex wouldn't I?) xxx

Eeeh Tete you certainly didn't share that with the group! What a tosspot! I'm tempted to seek him out and give him a piece of MY mind! :p Have you seen 'What Happens in Vegas'? I could turn up at his door, hit him in the crotch and when he says 'Whyyyy?' I'd glare at him and say 'You know why!!!' ;)

What a !!!! Tete, you are very much better off rid. It does annoy me when the other half tries to turn it around and make out like you're the crazy one thinking they've changed, or that something is going on, and when you later find out you were right it's even worse because they made you doubt your own instincts for so long! My ex went to stay with his cousin for a week, I knew something was up when he didn't answer his phone, I'd never heard of his cousin before etc....turned out he'd gone to Paris with some lass from school 'as friends' - and how did I find out? He used my bloody credit card while he was there!!!

Exactly! I brought it up with him and all he would say is "Everything's great. Why do you always have to find problems where there aren't any?" making me feel like a paranoid loon. It makes me so angry now- god help him if I ever do see him again because he won't know what's hit him.

At least he didn't get me into a load of debt though I guess - what an idiot with the credit card, or was he not bothered about you finding out by that stage?

Ooh I'm getting the Rage! Off for a run on the ice, that'll calm me down! x
