Well done Star! Thats fab! Mine has sort of gone out of the window due to having a big money shuffle. But I did list 11 things on eBay which is a huge personal victory in itself! Are we having an Awesome April challenge?

Well done Star! Mine has gone completely out the window
I'm determined to be more focused for April though now that I feel more settled about my future (immediate future, not the four years' time thing). I wonder if Dinah has another challenge planned?
NIM any word on the job front?

I won't have final figures for MM till next week but I can safely say I won't reach target. However, I am pleased with what I did do and more importantly it gave me a massive kick up the eBay bum, which hopefully will continueDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

Well done on reaching the MM target Star! I barely got off the starting blocks! :rotfl:
Wonder what Amazing/Awesome/All-Inspiring April will be?!
Hope everyone has lovely long weekend plans. No idea what we're up to, trying to not spend too much since our holiday was a little over budget and has to be paid in full in June and the way our paydays work we've only got 2 paydays on top of what we were paid last week to save the extra! Hope the weather picks up a little so we can at least have a couple of nice walks so we don't feel like we've wasted the weekend loafing about inside watching movies the whole time.

Beccie I think having a kick up the bum was probably more important. For me anyway. Although I reached my target a lot of it was the fact I had 2 wages coming in. However I did take that into account when I set my target and I am pleased that I met my "before 2nd wages" target too.
I am enjoying these challenges. The feb one helped me get my making mojo back and this one has helped me sort out eBay etc again.looking forward to AprilGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Congrats on MM Star!
I'm excited for April, because I am having a small holiday. I am going to Paris for a conference, and then staying on for a couple of days and OH is coming over. It was the same price to book a week in a tiny flat as it was to book 4 days in a hotel, so still MSE. And it's my birthday the week before so we can have birthday tea out on holiday instead. Hurrah!
Otherwise it will be the twin [STRIKE]evils[/STRIKE] pleasures of writing and DIY for me in April. The closet has to be finished by 5th as friends are coming around for tea. Then I need to finish re-painting the Juliet balcony. And if the worktop lady accepts our offer we will be getting rid of the horrible chipped worktops we have and some nice new ones. And a new hob :j I think that's just as much excitement as I can take right now :rotfl::A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been around. Been really manic at work etc, had a big client presentation yesterday.
Also in other news we have found a house subject to references. Can't wait to have a garden but slightly panicking at how we will fit everything in as it is a bit smaller than our flat. Time for some sorting through stuff i think!
Hope Grace, Cinny and Zig all had great birthdays.
Well done on the MM target Star!0 -
Right, I've been reading about the 5:2 diet and considering trying it for the month of April as a kick start - certainly looks more manageable than the restrictive Harcombe diet! Who was talking about it the other day? How is it going?
Great news about the house (and garden!) Wendz! xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Daft question. I was thinking about an Achievement April as a slightly lighter one compared to March Madness. For anyone with a day zero list or 30 before 30/40 before 40 list it's simple - how many of your goals can you get done this month? Spend this month putting some time into your personal development to recharge ready for another financial challenge come May. If you don't have a list already maybe either sit this month out or get yourself over to day zero to set some goals! A lot of us have these lists expiring this year, and I don't think any of us are over half way yet.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
