When I was getting horrendous pain in my legs the onc said it was my bone marrow trying to recover luckily it never went too low.It may be wise to see your dr as you may need antibiotics if you're not getting any better.
Do you have access to a 24 hour chemo line number as they are good with advice
  • Antibiotics - oh lordy, really hope not.

I'm not errrrr good with them at the best of times (am allergic to penicillan and quite a few other things so it's really hard to find ones I can take) - they're also the major suspect in what caused the Crohn's flare :( (I'd have 3 lots to try to shift an infection) *sigh*

Hopefully it'll shift ... fingers crossed!

Right really must go & find something for dinner ... still haven't done the meal plan yet

  • Lurgi remedy but not for the faint hearted or socially sensitive...

Chop an onion and a few cloves of garlic (small pieces), put in a jar (one you never want to use for anything else), cover with honey or sugar, leave for a few hours, take teaspoons of the resulting syrup.

The garlic is anti-everything and the onion is expectorant too. I haven't had proper bronchitis since I started hitting it with garlic at the first signs and being asthmatic I used to get it every year.

Also, do sleep - I find even a few extra hours makes a huge difference to how soon I shake something off or recover from a drama.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Hi rising.

just had a quick catch up. hope you are feeling a bit better today. i feel for you having a rubbish work place. mine are very uncool-operative with sickness so i'm not looking forward to the whole convo about maternity leave & returning.

hope you got out for a long walk with Maisie. Wrapped up warm and the fresh air would help with the cold :)

O.... M.....G...... you are a brave lady Rosa ... much braver than me!:o:rotfl:

Had my bloods done this morning & then spoke to Nurse at infusion clinic about whether I can have it on Thurs or not - she's going to check my blood results tomorrow & give me a call as it'll depend on what they say .... she did say come in anyway ..... but explained I don't really want to have to take a 2nd day off unless I have too:(

Did a really silly think when having my bloods done - don't read if squeemish / hate the idea of needles etc I hate having anything in my left arm (I'm left handed) from bloods being taken to the cannula .... so had my bloods done this morning from my right arm as usual BUT just had a thought - they might not be able to use that one on Thurs now:eek: (I've been bruising a lot more recently & the veins are starting to get .... worn out) - hate the thought of having it in the left one as I'd not be able to write while it was in :(

    finished with squeemish stuff

Horrid outside again ..... was really windy this morning & wet this afternoon *sigh* roll on spring / summer!
