  • 故障表现:

      1.用CMD命令进入DOS后输入ipconfig/all回车显示如下:

      Windows IP Configuration
      An internal error occurred: 不支持请求。
      Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for further help.Additional information: Unable to query host name.

      2.本地连接显示“已连接上”,但是数据包数字无变化,即流量为零。连接的详细状态为一片空白;

      3.使用命令提示符输入“ping 127.0.0.1”得到如下信息:C:\Documents and Settings\Newuser>ping 127.0.0.1Unable to contact IP driver, error code 2

    解决方法:

    1.简易方法:用U盘从其他使用正常的、与本机操作系统一致的电脑中拷贝C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\目录中的tcpip.sys文件替换本机原来的C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\tcpip.sys文件,然后重启电脑,就可以了。

    如果第一种方法之后仍出现同样的问题,说明TCP/IP协议出现问题,需要重装TCP/IP协议
    2.解决办法:
    1、开始——运行——regedit.exe,打开注册表编辑器,删除以下两个键:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2
    2、在C:\WINDOWS\inf中找到nettcpip.inf文件,用记事本打开,找到:
    [MS_TCPIP.PrimaryInstall]
    Characteristics = 0xa0 <
    把此处的0Xa0改为0x80 保存退出 (如果是2000系统,这里已经是0x80了,跳过此步)
    3、打开本地连接的TCP/IP属性---添加协议——从磁盘——浏览找到刚刚保存的nettcpip.inf(%winroot%\inf\nettcpip.inf)文件,然后选择“TCP/IP协议”(不要选择那个TCP/IP 版本6)。
    经过这一步之后,又返回网络连接的窗口,但这个时候,那个“卸载”按钮已经是可用的了。点这个“卸载”按钮来把TCP/IP协议删除,然后重启一次机器。
    4、重启后再照着第3步,重新安装一次TCP/IP协议便可。记得把INF文件改回来再重新安装,不然老是报告未经验证什么的。
    5、再重启一次,这时应该可以了,可以根据需要,设置一下IP地址。

    I managed to get hold of a PCI gigabit ethernet card too, but after installing still the same issue.
  • I might have missed it but have you run the SFC command?

    Start->Run->sfc /scannow
    Slowly reducing my 8.5k of debt!

    Download using another PC to a USB stick and then Install SP3 on the other.

    Sorry, tried that and the box flashes up really quickly and closes back down.

    Have downloaded SP3 and in the process of installing it, hopefully should fix it.

    Thanks everyone.

    And it works!

    You are a genius my friend!

    Thank you very much indeed. No doubt deleted something or a virus and file went missing.
