Zavvi not delivering...

Back in mid-January, I ordered an item from Zavvi Outlet through Play Trade which was (apparently) in stock.

After nearly 3 weeks of waiting for the item, I contacted both Zavvi (twice - both ignored) and then, having got nowhere with Zavvi, Play.com.

Only then did they respond and refund the item (even though it was still showing as "in stock"). I left negative feedback of my experience on Play Trade.

I received a very nice email apologising and offering both a small amount of compensation and a discount on a further purchase, but requesting that the feedback was withdrawn.

I queried whether the offer of compensation and discount was dependent on the withdrawal of feedback (as editing feedback is not possible) and was told that it wasn't.

I then replied saying that I would accept the offer but that the feedback would not be withdrawn - asking how to place an order- only to be told by reply that the offer was dependent on the withdrawal of the previous feedback!

Not only do Zavvi not deliver goods that are apparently in stock, nor reply to queries when the goods do not arrive, but do not honour offers that they make.

I would seriously consider very carefully ever dealing with this company again as they do not seem to be very honourable.

I await a reply to my latest mail. I will re-post here when I have an update.
