Zavvi not delivering...

    I pre-ordered the new Alan Partridge DVD back in september and finally got it the day Amazon offered it on Black Friday, a few weeks after the release date! Never ordering from them again

  • I am also having the same problem as Nicola32 with the Zavvi Lord of the rings super hero bundle . I pre ordered this the start of November and all i get is excuses . I wonder if Watchdog would like to look into there practices ? Meanies !

    I ordered a Xbox bundle off them, over a week ago. In stock and despatched within 24 hours, it said on the website. A week on order still processing! Emailed them, 2 days later they replied and said there had been a problem with the supplier of the stock and were cancelling my order!!! :mad::mad:

    If I had'nt have emailed who knows how long they would have left it before telling me.... very shoddy service and will not be ordering from them again!!! I now have spend my time looking for another one.... very peed off with them.

    Just about to send them a strongly worded email!!

    Just checked they took the money the day after ordering, with no intention of fullfulling the order. I cant cancel the order as its saying awaiting dispatch, which I know is not ture!!!
  • I ordered a PS3 and 3 games on 22nd Jan, if ordered before 4pm next day delivery. I ordered 7.25am so well in the time frame, as of yesterday nothing. Phoned them at 5.30 yesterday evening and was told the games and console came from different warehouses and they would email me as to when they would be delivered.

    I explained that I ordered before 4.30 and should have received my order 2 days ago, he just kept saying he would email the warehouse and then email me to let me know what was happening.

    I will not be ordering from Zavvi again :mad:

    I also ordered the Lego: Batman 2 & Lego: Lord of the Rings bundle on 6/12/12 and it never arrived.
    I contacted Zavvi via email to which they eventually replied and attached a form for me to fill in. I filled the form in and sent it back via email and Ive heard nothing since??
    I have emailed them repeatedly as I want a refund because these were meant as a chirstmas present and as xmas is now long gone I have no need for it.

    Can someone give me a phone number for them please, maybe I'll get further by actually speaking to someone.

    Last xmas I ordered the Skylanders starter pack and that never turned up either- a lesson learnt here I think!! :(

    If you paid by card ask your bank for a chargeback.

  • Hi, I am having a similar problem . I ordered an Ipod over a week ago. They have said it is despatched to Hermes delivery service but on the tracking it has been listed as ordered generated since the 24th. I ordered many items this day from other companies with the same delivery service. All of which have now arrived. Arghhh! They have no customer service phone line and I have sent 2 enquiries with no respone. I am not happy at all.

    They have no phone number ! :( I am frustrated with this too
  • I have had an identical issue with Zavvi, ordered three items on 14th Jan and another two on 17th, all showing on tracking links as "Order generated"with Hermes and that's it! (Strangely enough, they were using DPD before Christmas and everything I ordered was delivered promptly and the DPD tracking website is excellent! But put Hermes and Zavvi together and what do we expect!?)

    I emailed Zavvi on 29th Jan, got a reply on 2nd Feb saying they would contact the courier and get back to me. I immediately replied saying that wasn't good enough and got a reply back FOUR DAYS later on 5th Feb saying that they would contact the courier again and get back to me the same day - surprise surprise it is now the 10th and NOTHING!!!

    However, I have submitted a chargeback with my card issuer and suggest that if everyone who has had this problem with Zavvi do the same, surely Visa & Mastercard will want to know what is going on and possibly threaten to remove their credit card facilities to to so many chargebacks?

    P.S. Anyone have a direct email for their CEO?
