    i know - I'm still mad.

Not been paid yet, was hoping tomorrow - but heard it might be monday...OH should be paid tomorrow, but there is £400 on credit card from my glasses and our campervan holiday to be paid off before we have to pay interest. Then we need to keep back spends for our holiday, mum's birthday present and garden budget only has £50 left in it. Our wee emergency saving pot is almost empty too. Also need a new outside drier as ours is broken. And freezer is almost empty, so will need to do a shop.

Had £17 in my tidyup account that i put to credit card rather than overpayments. Really miss overpaying this month...feels like i am swimming upstream since christmas.

:rotfl: that definately won't be happening. Think that was where it all went wrong 25 years ago...

OH payday and after paying off credit card and saving a bit only have £3.33 to overpay today. Ah well, it all helps, and i get quite a good wage on monday as did 18 hours overtime. Did a freezer inventory for the first time ever - anybody got any ideas for about 5 packets of tattie scones?

Nice meal out last night with some girls i used to work with - only cost £15, cos no-one was drinking. There is a vintage shop next to my work and have seen the most lush art deco necklace in the window, all presented in a blue velvet box - -£55. I cannot tell you how much i am lusting after it...have to drive by the shop most days and the traffic lights always stop, it's very tempting.

Bottom of the grill pan, cook bacon above so fat drips through, sprinkle with sugar. Sounds disgusting but is proper lush :).

gallygirl, you were right - it does sound disgusting :rotfl: OH off making some with scrambled egg now.

Had a bit of a spree yesterday - really needed new bra, as my ones were turning grey and there was an unattrative overspill going on giving me a look of having 4 boobs, so a quick expensive trip to Bravissimo and now boobs back in their right place again :D

(also might have nipped into vintage shop and purchased a wee necklace that i mentioned before - oops :o)

M & S had a bit of a sale on and got a couple of gardening giftsets at major reductions, one for mum birthday and one for fathers day.

Got some stickered meat in shop and more at farmers market so we have filled freezer again. Emptied £35 from the change pot so that helped.

Made tablet for mothers day, and will dig out a nice giftset i picked up in boots sale for her - also there was an accidental wonder into chocolate shop yesterday so there is box of chocs for her too. My kids are both working today, so I'm having to wait for mine.

got paid today, and only a small overpayment of £125 paid, but there is now money in the garden budget and holiday budget as well as small amount to my isa for emergencies. So pretty happy with that, although it's still just over. 90k. Tomorrow after regular payment goes in it should slip into the 80s...

We are now paying £6.20 a day interest saving £1.38 a day since when we took it out in July. That's not too bad.

And it's monday so off to work again...

regular payment made today and we now owe less than 90k :j:j:j

    total is £89500

Showed Mr P the statement this morning and he was suitably chuffed, he doesn't take much to do with our money - I tell him we are skint every month and he just accepts that, but today he can see why we have limited cash lying about in the bank.
