Always GOOD news, going to add more jumping jacks as one is simply not enough!

Spurred on by your dance classes, I have been looking around for something to do in my area, and have taken the dive and emailed various people. Will keep you informed on how that goes!M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
thank you BlueMoo - can recommend the dancing, it is difficult, but already feel like we are dancing better after just 4 classes - all those jumping men worked wonders becuase OH gets paid tomorrow - with a £600 tax rebate :j:j:j
The tax man taketh and then giveth this month. This means we can pay tax bill for the company and have a bit left over to put towards mortgage. Plus, i am eyeing up a sneaky greenhouse to get veg started early.
Snow started here this evening - was coming down the chimney!. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k

payday and paid that awful tax bill :j:T:rotfl: Then put £526.41 into the mortgage, making a grand total of 93,420 still to pay.
Spends for this feb include a trip to Glasgow to see daughter's consultant about her bone tumour - not very sure about driving in glasgow so thinking about taking the train - and then a couple of nights away with OH, because we need a break.. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k

Good news that the tax man is paid off - I have a lot of experience unfortunately with the darned tax man and their non-sensical rebates/overpayments malarkey.M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
I have tried to get my OH to a dance class but he looks at me like I've grown 2 heads!! (will probably go with his 2 left feet tho lol!)Mortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k
Savings: £3k

our beginners class is called 2 left feet - and it was that name that persuaded us to join.
Got 2 hours overtime on friday and another 2 lined up for tomorrow - think some folk will be taking end of year holidays before end of march so there should be some more overtime going. my other job offered me a shift this afternoon - but like being off weekends.
However we are struggling to find cheap things to do in the cold wet days, there is a limit to how much walks, books and Telly we can get through. The garden will keep us busy in a month or so, but it is too cold at the moment.
Went shopping yesterday in a different town and had a walk around all the cheap shops there. saved £10 with a moc, but probably spent that on fuel! still, at least the cupboards are full again.
Managed to get cheap rail tickets to glasgow for daughters appointment but not going to spend the night as we both need to be back home the next day for other things.. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k

usual direct debit and paid another £100 to the mortgage today so toal down to £92,650. should be :j but it's a long slog.
Went out for tea last night as we were all fed up, nice fish restuarant and was £20 each which is cheap, but meant we spent too much at the weekend. Better get up - overtime is great in theory, but not much fun having to leave my cosy bed.. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k

more overtime today :j another 2 hours. filled up the car with diesel and hope that lasts a week or so, using OH car now for work and it is definately more economical. tea tonight was soup and sandwiches. also picked up 2 giant slabs of puff pastry that were reduced to 39p each so they have gone into the freezer. Made chicken pie for tomorrow tea.

very small overpayment of £25 made this morning, total now 92650. Chicken pie leftovers for tea tonight - made the chicken in the slow cooker and it was great, with a potato and turnip topping.
I have been buying one thing for the house every month now that we are almost finished renovating - and certainly the budget has dried up for all that. This month I have bought an old fashioned laundry rack that will hang from the roof in the sun room. Our washing machine has a tumble drier programme, but cannot get the hang of it and more economical to hang washing up. It arrived this week and I will get it fitted this weekend i hope.. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k
