Tut tut, Stephanie,
Magenta is making enquires about moving to BT, with YouView. It's only Chrissyg thats having problems (but with their Vision 2.0 box). I would have expected better, from the BT community Manger.0 -

ive used the "contact us" link today , ive sent an email to outline the issues and as i believe BTis in breach of our contract ie failing to provide a service that was agreed to and im paying for i want to end the vision part of my contract.
i dont expect they will agree to this but we will see .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi Chrissyg, You'll be pleased to know you will get a refund (says VM, with his crystal ball, lol). All you need do is keep a note of the dates when your service went down. I know because this has happened to me on the odd, rare occasion. But you actually have to ask for a refund, to get one.0 -
Hi CHRISSYG,
Thanks for that, we'll be in touch.
Woops VisionMan, thanks for the post, I misread Magenta's post (thought she said she was having problems with her broadband, but her post read "What I want from BT, which I don't have now is broadband which works" so she's obviously not with BT for her broadband. Genuine mistake, I'll edit my reply now).

Does anyone know where I can get a complete channel listing for the BT Youview package?
I have been told by BT that it includes Sky1 and the FX Channels and you can record these are you do the freeview channels, but nowhere on their website can I find this.
So before I take the plunge I just wanted to see if anyone else who has BT Youview can confirm this for me?
Thanks0 -

It's the Freeview channels plus the on-demand facilities, you won't get any subscription channels included in then standard package.
To get Sky Sport s1, 2 and ESPN, you must take the BT Vision+ with Sports tariff, and be in an Infinity enabled area. It's all on the same link above. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

There are no live linear channels on YouView. They will launch very shortly only on BT Vision. Then later in the year on YouView.
And they told you they would include Sky1? Honest to God! I despair at those people. As thats not public knowledge yet.0
