Can I change my ebay name without losing FB?

I want to change my ebay user name after some unwanted 'flirty' talk from someone who wanted to buy an item from me outside of ebay.
It is obvious from my user name that I am female, and I don't think I would have had a reply like I got if I was male, so I want to change it to something more anonymous.
How do I do it without losing my 100% positive feedback?

You can change your username and keep feedback here https://scgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ChangeUserId&guest=1
However it will show on your account for 30 days as a change of name and anyone can see the change0 -
Just go to 'personal information' under 'your account' and change your user i.d.0

Be aware that the person who made those comments will still be able to find you under your new name. It will be OK if it was a once-off, not so much if they are a stalker as your new name will still be attached to that particular transaction. If you buy then it won't be so difficult to start off a new name if you are being harassed, but then if it is more than a once-off it's better to do something about it than give in to bullies or creeps.
For future, yes, an androgynous name is better. I've never worried about it - given the status of women on the parts of the internet I frequent I'd actually rather people knew I was a girl rather than just calling me 'he' all the time, hence I use 'queen' or other female denominators in my usernames - but then I've never been the target of horrid or creepy messages. If they were really misogynistic and/or abusive then you could always report the other person to eBay. If nothing else it will give them a wake-up call that it's not wise to make such comments."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I try to put 'they' or 'them', or he/she when answering questions on MSE - cos most people just put 'he'.
Funny thing is, i thought my name suggested male. Apparantely not - most assume i am female - as i go on the coupon and Boots threads now and again.
I assumed Soolin was male, but think i'm now right - female?
But on Ebay i prefer just totally anonymous user names on my private accounts.0 -
My guess is Soolin is female, but its only a guess lol.0

My eBay name makes it clear I'm female, but I've never had any unwanted attention, as my name also gives a hint to my year of birth. Any males probably think I'm too old to flirt with lol !
I picked my MSE name so i could feel a bit younger!Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Each to their own. I have to say, there are more women on eBay forums than on other forums (e.g. TV Tropes, online gaming, role-playing etc).
But OP should report any messages and not feel they have to hide or change their name because of a silly twerp who can't keep their thoughts to themselves."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
