Hi All
It's been an emotional and financial up and down month as my Old-Boy cat has been very poorly, and yesterday culminated in a successful op to remove one of the problems (Charlie is MUCH MUCH happier today, so well worth the worry and spends :T), so my OP is a quarter of what I'd hoped for, but hey, such is life and my Old-Boy is worth every penny
So, I'm declaring an op of £450 this month, thanks to not having any time to spend money anywhere but at the vets, but mostly thanks to a "free" council tax and water rates month :T.
Better than I expected, to be honest, which is leaving me wondering what I've forgotten to pay
My signature is updated...roll on next payday...note to self...keep away from the vets....:rotfl:
Happy saving everyone

I just couldn't let February pass without another top up and as its earning less in savings than its costing me on the mortgage it's a no brainer.
So number 108 another £500 making me total £2000 this year so far.Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j

Not wishing to panic everyone but the Moody's AAA ratings downgrade can only lead to one thing in my eyes, more expensive borrowing on the open market.
My lender Santander, already has a fairly meaty SVR at 4.74% and surely their SVR will increase in the weeks and months ahead as borrowing becomes more expensive.
Not that we all need an incentive to keep up the good work but this latest news just adds fuel to my passion of wanting rid of my Santander mortgage before I hit the ripe age of 51
