I've just made an overpayment of £816 for November. Which brings be up to £7405 for the year. Just £95 short of my £7500 target with a month to go
However, it's likely we might not do an overpayment next month due to Christmas etc, and the minimum overpaymeny we are allowed is £500.
So it looks like we'll fall £95 shortMFW 2015 - #88 £3,345 / £3,500

Total mess in the TTFTM household and finances
Car died utterly and completely yesterday so needed to borrow from mortgage overpayment/endowment shortfall fund to buy a "new" one
As we were intended to replace the car from my redundancy money in January, I am going to class this as an IOU and not change my total. Hope no-one thinks this is cheating but it's the only way I can think to do it
In one way it has worked out to be a bonus as we had earmarked £6000 for a replacement car but have only had to borrow £4000, as we managed to get a bargain, so it will all come out in the wash. Anyway that's my story and I am sticking to itLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Sneaks head around the door, quietly approaching those in the room to ask a question...
 I'm currently still in the land of DFW but feeling more positive than I should probably allow myself to feel, I'm hoping the sale of our rental property will go through very soon, freeing up equity to pay off our debts as well as do some much needed building work on our house.
So, I am now planning ahead for when I become a MFW...
I've been nosing around this board for the last few weeks and this seems to be the only 'chatty' thread on here, but I'm not sure if this is supposed to be used that way? Is there a thread on these boards for those of us who are pants at keeping a diary (my DFW one is a testiment to that, lol) but are more comfortable at popping their heads into chat threads on the subject?
