LavenderBees so sorry to hear your sad news - poor you. I can't imagine how awful it must be, so I'm not going to pretend I do. I do, however, agree that sometimes you just really need to spend as a pick-me-up, and if that has helped comfort you even a little in this time of worry and grief then IMO if is money well spent.
You're doing amazingly well YTD so don't lose sight of that, and as others have said, just start afresh next month or whenever you can get your finances back on an even keel.
