Question for Humax experts.

OK. in that case why don't you just set up a manual recording on the Sky+ box?

If a Humax is set to series link it will record episodes until the series ends. For the really keen, can plug a Slingbox into a Humax or a Sky box and set recordings from a web browser and even watch them, all remotely.

I am about to buy the Fox Sat HD 500, any thoughts on this.

We have Sky hd plus in the house, but OH wants Pause, rewind etc in the conservatory. We already have an earial. Any thoughts on the abve box. Great price at £214 at Richer Sounds plus a £10 voucher and a 5 yea guarantee for £21.

Each box will need 2 satellite cables and a dedicated feed to the dish and enough LNB ports. This is why I went for a Freeview PVR.

i have a humax 9150, if the first in the series is within the week you can series link. if you want something more user friendly there are topfields but they are a bit more expensive

I thought Topfield had stopped selling here. I had one for years and had to buy a Humax earlier this year when it went and died on me unfortunately.
