I read a beautiful quote yesterday that finished with:
"Dogs are given to us to teach us about love, and leave us to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog, it just makes their owner's heart bigger. If you have loved many dogs, you have a very big heart."
I am so sorry for all of you who have lost a furbaby - cat, dog, bunny or anything else - and to those of you that have a poorly one. I've been there, it's awful, and send you all the love and hugs I can.
