I'm so sorry, it's just horrible :( Please keep talking to us about her and when you feel ready, I'd love to hear about her, she sounds like a very special lady

And I know it feels unbearable right now, but I promise you that it does hurt less with time, unfortunately though, in order to get to that place, you have to go through this horrible, horrible grief xx

No parent should ever have to see their child die. Unfortunately for those of us who have dogs, its a price we have to pay.

The loss is in direct proportion to the love we have for them.

It will take you a long time; my only advice is to lodge the happy memories deep into your memory. In time you'll probably want another dog, but take some time out first.

I am so sorry for your loss. No words anyone can say will help you right now, but the pain will ease, and the happy memories will take over from the hurt.
There is is always someone about in here that will offer you a shoulder should you need one.
Its been a bad year for many of us, so we feel your pain . xx

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, so loved so missed but very dear.
RIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Always in our hearts xxx
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

Im so sorry - Ive been there so many times and Im afraid it never gets easier but your girl had a wonderful cared for long life and sounds like she went quickly and peacefully.

The pain does ease with time and you will one day be able to think of her and smile.

Dogs are so pure and innocent and give their love without expecting anything in return, I think thats why its often worse than losing a human relative.

I hope one day you can honour her memory by taking home another little soul who needs the good home you gave her xxxx
  • So sorry x

I lost my 2 old cats within 8 months of each other (strangely we got them 8 months apart) with Thomas being PTS in March. I still have days when I'll cry about them. When you spend every day with your pets, they leave a massive hole after 15 years. I don't think I'll ever get over them tbh but things do improve.

We lost our rescue buy 2months ago tomorrow. It does get easier to get through every day, but the memories never lessen.

We are lucky to have had them and I thank him every day for the joy he brought.

  • Hello iounowt i feel for you so much,as i'm writing this i am crying my eyes out i know how you feel my beautiful 10 year old rotti has just been diagnosed with heart disease he is'nt well and me and my partner are watching him round the clock. We are doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and happy we don't know how long he has left.I to are crying all the time i'm angry i won't to scream and fight the world.Everwhere i look in the house there is his stuff we love him so much everything is upsetting me.I've always owned dogs and this never ever gets any easier but time will heal don't be afraid to grieve and bawl your eyes out if you want to.Make a little corner somewhere were you can put a few of her favourite things, then you can go there and talk to her and remember the good times. She is out of pain and in a happy place and you will see her again in time.Take care of yourself my thoughts and prayers are with you
