Got some things finishing on ebay today so fingers crossed I can raise the £60 for a deposit for a holiday.

Been out in the snow as had to take the kids to school and its snowing again now, just hoping it doesn't get too deep as I still need to take the pushchair out later for the next school run!!

Weighed myself yesterday and I lost 5lb last week! sooo happy with that and I have started to follow the primal diet, not religiously but picking up some of the concepts and I must say I feel great and less sluggish. I am starting think that heavy carbs really don't agree with my body at all!

Not much on the money front really, didn't make enough for a holiday deposit so its sat in my savings account until I decide what to do with it. I have got more things finishing tomorrow so will see what comes of it all.

Yesterday I had an email from the debt collector that I have paid off with a full and final settlement, chasing me for the rest of the debt!! Even though I have a letter from them saying they, or no one else would chase me for the remaining debt!
Put me in a real bad mood and I emailed them back to say I have proof they won't chase me so they need to stop!!

Right well finally decided what to do with the money I made on EBAY. I bought my little girl her first bed! I'm excited and sad at the same time as she will finally be out of her cot and it will be the last cot we have in the house. My baby is growing into a little girl, I think I may shed some tears! It also means I have a cot to try and sell!

I will have a bit of money next week so going to pay off the rest of the 2nd debt that let me have a full and final settlement, so I won't have to think about it again thank god!
That will be 2 down already in 2013! The pace will probably be slower from now on but I'll keep trying to chip away at it all the best I can. I do feel slightly better that I have started to make a dent on the mammoth debt pile but it was always going to be a long journey.

Last night was the first night of my baby girl being in her new bed and it went well! yay!
Need to get her bedroom sorted more now too, I put some bunting up and a couple of pictures so its looking lovely and girly now.
Just need to get rid of her cot and some of her baby toys now!

Also got lots of things to put on ebay but Ive reached my monthly limit so I'm stuck with it all for a week before I can do anything.

DH has lost a lot of time at work with the snow which also means a lot of money lost Always seems to be something coming along to test us.

Ahhh Glad DD likes her new cot.

annoying about the monthly limits on ebay & your DH losing hours.
hopefully the sales you can do next week might be able to make up for a bit of it x

£710 paid off this year so far! I'm happy with that even if I have still got a long way to go.

Getting peeved off with debt collectors though! The second debt I am in arrangement to pay off with a full and final settlement sent me a letter saying as I have ignored all their letters they are considering legal action!

I wouldn't mind if it was true but I sent them a payment and a letter accepting their offer and I have been emailing with them as their online system wasn't working when I tried to pay off the remaining amount!!

So had an email back from the debt collectors after I complained and apparently I got the letter as my payment plan failed! !!!!!!?

They told me I had 90 days to pay it up which actually gives me until the end of March but no according to them its the 15th Feb! Ive sent them a cheque yesterday so not concerned by it, just annoyed really that they say one thing and then change it! No wonder people get in a mess and a tizz with it all! Will be glad to see the back of this one!
